Hi All,
Hi NicsFish, welcome. I'm not a Feb mommy anymore as well - my date has been moved to 09:00 on 14 Jan. I have to have a c-section due to placenta previa.
I am sure that everything will go well with your little girl, and that she will grow at her own pace. I have read about GD and I so sincerely hope that you don't even get close to it.
Jeanine, I'm so happy for you that she's turned! She will stay that way. Your bump pic looks stunning!!
Marley, take it easy as well, I'm glad to see everything is going well with you!
On my side, I fell in the rain 2 days ago. (On my way into the office from the parking lot) Stupid and clumsy but maybe it is because I haven't seen my feet in weeks now

Anyways, went to the maternity ward because I fell on my tummy (and knee). They strapped monitors on and checked Maria's heartbeat and checked for contractions and bleeding and all that but luckily only my knee and ego were bruised. Because of the previa I can start bleeding at any time if the placenta ruptures from the uterine wall so now I am taking it easier - absolutely no heavy lifting and just trying to relax.
Oh, another funny thing - my legs (and I) are short, so right now, even though I have lifted and moved the steering wheel on the car back, it is starting to rub against my tummy :-D
On the maternity leave front - our offices close on the 20th of December and only opens on the 6th of Jan. I also have annual leave that lapses at the end of Jan if I don't take it so my maternity leave officially starts on the 13th of January but my annual leave and closure means I'm off from the 18th of December.
I've also now washed all of Maria's clothes and blankets and have re-packed our bags. Next week it is serious baby room finishing.
I hope you all have a great day and week!
