@Juiter , aaaahhh sorry about your first scan not going as planned atleast you don't have to wait another week or something, lol good luck for tomorrow though I hope everything goes great! I have been experiencing fatigue on steroids actually to a point where I passed out at work right on top of the pc and one of the cleaners woke me up...totally embarrassing.

I have already told my boss and he was thrilled for me considering I had a miscarriage a couple of months ago, so everything was good vibes from the boss so don't be nervous just be the confident mummy you are and everything will go smoothly.

@Dellie, im also not sure how you can manage the bloating but eating small meals has helped me as well so Jupiter is right on the money

I went to my gynae today to have my first appointment. I got there and the receptionist told me it's not today it's tomorrow! Arrrgh, what a disappointment. I'm so positive she said the 7th of Jan when I made the booking. I think she told me the 7th but wrote it down under the 8th in her book. I even wrote down the 7th when I phoned so I'm pretty sure it was her mistake, but maybe it is pregnancy porridge brain already kicking in?!
Oh well, one more day to wait then...

Dellie, I'm really not sure what you can do about bloating. Maybe try eating smaller meals more frequently rather than big meals.

I'm lucky I haven't had any nausea or morning sickness. I never had it with my first pregnancy either. What I do have is extreme, debilitating exhaustion which kicks in at around mid-day and lasts all the way up until I go to bed at night. I hope it goes away by next week when I have to go back to work on the 13th. Anyone else experiencing this extreme tiredness? It's unreal, unlike any other type of fatigue.

anyone told their bosses yet? I'm going to tell mine when I start work on the 13th, as long as the scan goes well tomorrow. It's weird I feel a little bit nervous about telling him :-0

im due around late june early august, how is everyone doing and congrats to everyone on their pregnancies

Hi all

I found out that I am pregnant on 18 December after I have done a beta test. This was after my IUI
on 5 December. I feel so blessed. I am 6 weeks and 5 days today and had my first scan on 3 Jan - this was
so special to see the little heartbeat! I will be going again for a scan on 17 Jan ( 8 weeks) and then I will
move over to my gynae. My due date is 28 August 2014.

The morning sickness has kicked in - feeling very nauseas and had to run to the bathroom yesterday morning.
I am also very bloated - does any of you have a natural remedy for this? I used something over the counter
for constipation (which is safe) but this does not seem to work.

I think it is just bloating. I get the same thing as well. Sometimes my tummy looks like I'm much further along than I really am. I even think to myself maybe I've miscalculated and I'm actually much more pregnant than I thought! But then other days the tummy goes right back down again, so ja, I think it's bloating. Is your tummy staying big or does it go up and down? I've also heard that you start to show earlier in the second pregnancy so it could be that as well.

First day back at work today.....SO not in the mood for it.

I don't know what the hell is going on with my tummy, but I look like i'm 6 months preggers already, its insane.
I have heard that with your second child you show a lot earlier than with your first (my baby bump only started showing when I was about 5 months pregnant with my son), but this is not normal, I hope its just bloating.
