@EveStyles, I'm also a teacher and with my first pregnancy I also only told a few select people in the beginning and the same thing happened! The principal found out I was pregnant before I even told him. I work at a different school now and I made it a point this time round to tell the principal first before telling everyone else, but I told everyone on the same day, once I spoke to the principal in the morning I then let the cat out the bag and now everyone knows.

Gabi, been wondering where you got to. Doesn't the time go by so slowly when a scan is coming up, especially the first one! Hope next Monday comes quickly for you.

Welcome, Bee. Have you got over the shock yet, lol. I'm also hoping for a VBAC so maybe we can support each other with that, there was another VBAC hopeful on here as well, sorry I can't remember now. Was it Gabi? Sorry my memory is failing me.

To all the other ladies, I hope things are going well for you. I must confess, I really don't enjoy the early weeks of pregnancy, I think the first trimester is the hardest time! The kids came back to school today and I was absolutely shattered by the time I got home, I had to go lie down. I forgot how exhausting it is working with kids after the long holiday! Being pregnant makes it ten times more exhausting.
Anyway, I'm going to stop rambling now. Those who have scans coming up, keep us posted!

Hey ladies

Went back to gym today and totally over did it - felt cramping and pains so i had to stop.

My first scan is only on 22nd - it's taking forever.

I only told a few people at school that I'm pregnant, my closer colleagues, but I heard today apparently it's gone around the whole school already - great

I'm just over 8 weeks and the nausea got super bad this week - I thought it would ease off but nope.

I'm sure my tummy has popped already - anyone else? (this is my 2nd pregnancy so maybe that's why but 8 weeks is early to pop!) - 1st pregnancy I popped around 15 weeks.

Been battling to post here, every time I write one as soon as I submit it disappears, then I am not in the mood to retype!

Hope everyone is doing well.
finally my gynae is back from leave and I was able to make an appointment for next week Monday, I am just so excited to see and hear the little heartbeat

So I am still not certain how many weeks I am, I think I might only be 6 weeks or so, with my last pregnancy week 6 was when everything hit at the same time, MS, sore boobs, sleeping at my desk.
My boss is away till the end of the month, so trying to keep the pregnancy on the down low still, which is difficult with my stomach the size it is already.

Anyway, hope everyone's Monday is not going too badly

Hi all. New to the site but happy to see this group.

I'm 11 weeks pregnant, my 2nd pregnancy and due early August. To be honest I'm scared...well can't use the word in here. My little daughter was only 10 months yesterday. This pregnancy was a total shocker, changed birth control methods and that's where it came in.

Would love to have a VBAC though, had an emergency c-section last due to baby being in distress. One part of me excited and other part still in disbelief/ confused about continuing with this pregnancy.

My first scan and checkup is scheduled for the 28th of January. Hopefully seeing the baby will make me believe and make me more excited.

AFM - I am 7 weeks and 4 days today. The nausea is a bit better - I only now have it in the eventings. Well,
for now anyways. I am still very tired. The constipation is also a lot better - been eating all bran in the
mornings and it works quite well, so no longer that bloated. I will be going for my second scan on
Friday - cant wait!

Im going for my scan next week and im very excited, cant wait to see baby doing her thing in there,lol

@Carmy 8182 - i was very excited about the movement and best part is dad got to feel baby last night which was absolutely adorab le...the fatigue is slowly fading but the craving for sour food is coming on strong,lol

@Jupiter - I agree with you jupiter, the original pack of this group are very quiet and would also love to hear how they are doing so far

Hello to the ladies who have recently joined the group. Nice to see some more August moms on here, the more the merrier! If I'm not mistaken I counted 8 of us so far (correct me if I'm wrong) but the two original posters, LittleOne and PetroK have been very quiet. Would love to hear how things are going with you both.
