Jupiter - how exciting - now you know blue

shopping time!!!!!
Right from the start I've said I would cry if I found out we're having a boy because this is our last baby but recently I've started coming to grips with having a boy and that it has major positives too. Someone at church said this to me - girls make long life friends that are like sisters, quite easily, but boys on the other hand; you hardly make a friend like a brother you've grown up with all the years. That made my heart happy! It kinda makes me want to have 4 kids - 2 boys and 2 girls so we get the best of both and so do they heehhehehehehe.
As for maternity leave - mine is also unpaid but we all know that preschool teachers don't get paid much so it's not like we're going to be missing out on that much - all worth it in the end.
Fetal assessment - wanted to find out - is this a given with most gynaes i.e. will most gynaes automatically send you for a fetal assessment at either 13 or 21 weeks? I remember going to a special scan with Connor but I can't remember how far I was and it certainly wasn't at the Cape Town Fetal Assessment place at Kingsbury. It was at my gynae's partner who works at the back of Kingsbury. Just wanted to know for interest sake - and also if we can't see gender at next week's 18 week scan then I was hoping for detailed fetal assessment at 21 weeks to check all is well and also gender.
Weight - seems to have slowed down a bit on the scale but not on my body - shooting it at all angles especially my rear end!
Starting to really feel pregnant now. Took me a while for it to feel real.
Can't wait to go shopping
Have an awesome rest of the weekend and a brilliant next week if I don't hear from you ladies before then.
