Hey mamas

Sorry I haven't been on here for ages, the weeks areflying by, it's crazy. I can't believe I will be 31 weeks on Wednesday, gone by so quickly.

Went for the 4d scan, Liam wasn't interested in showing us anything other than his balls and feet! He's literally sitting with his bum on my bladder and his head between my ribs. I am getting very uncomfortable and his position makes it hard to breath when sitting at my office desk. The placenta is looking ok but now my thyroid levels are dropping, they haven't changed my medication so guess I must just take sneaky naps under my desk!!! I am starting maternity leave on the 1st December although the owners of the lodge seem very concerned I need to go earlier, I just tell them my tummy may look like I'm 37 weeks but ican assure them I still have a few weeks to go.

Glad everyone is doing well and there are so many boys! Liam weighed 1.3 at 28 week scan so similar to his brother.

MommyMe, I wasn't going to do the maternity tour but I was at the hospital on Monday and the sister suggested I do it since so much has changed in the 5+ years since I've been there so will probably go in November too.

Robsyc, lovely pics as well. Your nursery is beautiful. Glad you are better are your scare!

AFM, all good my side. Baby doing well. He was 1.1kg at our last appt at 26 weeks and we are doing the 4d scan on 1 November so I am looking forward to that. Had a teeny scare on Monday with a bit of spotting but had a ctg and baby was doing fine thankfully.

Counting down until maternity leave starts!! Just over a month for me now

More almal

Alicia dit is so oulik!! kannie wag vir ons 4D en hoop ook om mooi fototjies te kry. Ek tel letterlik die dae af tot Des. wil nou net als begin regkry vir Lea en dan rustig word. Daar is nog so baie om te doen.

My skoonsussie het gister so geskimp skimp en gevra oor babyshower goedjies. So sien regtig uit.

Kannie glo dit is al amper einde OKtober alweer nie, tyd vlieg,al voel dit nie so as mens die weke aftel nie.

Ons het die afgelope paar dae bietjie kop gekrap met hospitale en besluite oor geboorte ens. Ons wil mos graag normaal probeer met Hypnobirthing en moet nou besluit tussen Midwife of dr. So hoop om dit binnekort uit te sorteer sodat ons meer kan relax daaroor.

Alicia Stiaan is n mooi naam. Dit is lekker om met hule te praat op hulle naampie.

Robs hope you are feeling better and its almost weekend, enjoy your family and gran and your babyshower, exciting. Your baby room looks pretty, so nice preparing a space that is so special. We havnt started on ours, will only perhaps happen in Dec. Depends on how the situation in the house plays out. But im excited for everything that still needs to happen.

We are also going for a hospital tour in Nov, any of you have been? When are all of you starting to pack your bags? Someone on the Dec group delivered at 32 weeks just a week or so ago,so anything can happen.

Jammer ons is almal so still maar ek dink dis die tyd van die jaar almal is besig jong - Ek is HR Manger op n groot myn so dit gaan rof - dit raak nou tyd vir bonus en verlof en aftree en sjoe so baie goed

Hi Joans jip ons gaan hom Stiaan noem ek is sooooooooo opgewonde dis nou meer real nou dat hy n naam het

Ek gaan weer die 06de Nov vir n scan kan nie wag nie was die 21ste vir die 3D dit was AMAZING ek post vir julle n paar pics

Verder voel ek ook goed slaap baie beter as in die 2de trimester ek is nog nie regtig ongemaklik nie net maandag aand het ek so warm gekry en dit het gevoel of my longe nie genoeg lug in kan kry nie toe het ek gaan bad en in die bed geklim by die aircon en die volgende dag toe voel ek darem beter - Het die gynie gebel toe se sy dis my bloeddruk wat bietjie op gaan so ek moet nou as ek weer so voel by n apteek of iets uitkom en iets sout eet om dit af te bring - ek weet hoe bloeddruk is baie gevaarlik vir baba

ek het nou die 15de Nov my babatee ek kan nie wag nie dis nou n exciting tyd in swangerskap ons is oor die hond se rug dis nou net aftraande van hier af

Sorry I've been so quiet, loads of work at the moment but at least I know that I only have about 5 weeks of work left before maternity leave!

Alicia hoe gaan dit met die naam besluit? Ek en manlief het ook maar nogals 'n tydjie gesukkel daarmee.

MommyMe ek is met jou met die nesting! Dis net moeilik om te nest wanneer ek moet trek, maar dit sal alles nog bymekaar kom. My familie babyshower was baie baie lekker, net lekker gekuier en was goed om almal weer bymekaar te he. Nic het ook nou 'n designer klere-kas wat skrik vir niks!! Maar ja, ons het eintlik nog bitter min nodig vir babs, en ek weet die skoon ouers wil ook nog goed koop, want hulle sit maar ver en verlang vreeslik.

Robyn such cute pics! Look after yourself, I don't think we realise how big the toll on our bodies is all the time. Your baby room is beautiful DH and I are very much still working on ours, but will post photos when it's more complete.

AFM I'm just getting very heavy and some of my first trimester moodiness is back, but other than that I'm doing just fine. Want to cook all the time! I think I'm craving ginger because I just want to make chinese food all the time (SO MANY DUMPLINGS), but at least my hubby loves it. I can't wait till babs is here, I know I've had a really uncomplicated pregnancy but I really can't wait for it to be over. Especially now that I'm getting quite uncomfortable big. But soon!
