Due January 2015

Hello everyone!

Robyn I hope all is well, and that baby Nathan has decided to stay in the oven a bit longer! Just goes to show that these little ones have quite a mind of their own, getting really antsy to wash all my hospital baby clothes and everything now so my bag can just be on standby at the door, just for in case! But please come update!

AFM there isn't really much to report. We've been working hard on our baby room, the mural is done now (we handmade a whale stencil and did a two tone almost wallpaper-like print on the one wall. very time consuming but looks awesome!) and we'll probably finish the rest of the stuff next weekend (we need to spraypaint the moses basket another layer and paint some other stuff) but getting there! Only 9 days of work left for me! (literally counting the days). I feel gigantic and I'm becoming more and more grateful that I work at home, as I'm also getting somewhat tired again (not nearly as bad as the first trimester, but bad enough to make work a bit hard)

How is everyone else feeling? Getting excited? How are your baby rooms progressing?

I'm actually from the Dec group but my twins were born last week at 33 weeks.
Really hope you can keep your boy in longer but if you need an ear or advice feel free to ask.
My girls are in NICU and it us quite scary and daunting in the beginning.
There is also a premmie group if needed but I really uope you won't!!

Stay strong, relax we are hoping for the best!!

Hi all!

How is everyone doing? Hope all progressing along nicely!
I am currently writing this post from hospital, I am in preterm labour!!! Contractions started this morning and I monitored them and then decided to come in because they were regular and not braxton hicks! So they're giving me meds to stop the contractions and labour and also had some steroids to mature Nathans lungs just in case. So far still having the contractions!

So ladies if you have any sort of gut feeling, always go with it!!!

Hopefully he stays in the oven a little longer. They're monitoring him and he is happy and not in distress so that's what counts!

Hello all!

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Had a monthly check up this morning and all is good. Baby is growing nicely. He is now 2kgs so looks to be a good healthy weight.

Also booked my bed. So moving along!

APotgieter en Joans, julle is besig om lekker groot en sterk seuntjies te kweek ne!

My eerste was 3,97kg met geboorte, so ons moes keiser want sy het ook nog geen planne gehad om af te sak nie, so induksie was buite die kwessie. Ek is nogal nuuskiering om te weet wat ons klein sussie nou weeg en of sy net so groot soos haar ousus gaan wees. Ek sien die 19de Nov my Gynea en gaan ook net daarna vir die 4d scan, kan nie wag nie!

Robsyc, you are definitely at the right place Quite scary that a bladder infection can do that, so happy to hear it is all sorted out now.

Nadia, all the best with the exams! You have now reminded me about breast pads, I completely forgot that I still need those, and I here I was bragging to a friend that I have all I need That is the way it goes though, as soon as I think I am definitely now sorted (or at least have it on my to-get list) I remember something else!

Mommyme, ek is bly om te hoor jy rus bietjie en dat die bloeding onder beheer is.

AFM - nadat ek so bietjie die werkery oordoen het, staan kry ek toe verkoue/griep Dit gebeur mos altyd sodra mens begin ontspan. Ek het ons dogtertjie aangesteek, gelukkig het sy dit baie lig gehad, ek het haar dadelik n immune booster gegee, en manlief het my nou net gebel om te se hy is oppad huis to want hy voel goor Ek is darem oor ergste, het nog n hoes en verstopte neus, maar darem onder beheer. Ek het wel so 2kg verloor met die dat ek geen aptyt het nie, maar ek is nie te bekommerd nie want ek het al BAIE opgetel in total. Daar is oorgenoeg reserwes

My nesting instink het ook nou met alle geweld ingeskop, so erg dat ek die naweek vir my n labelling masjientjie gekoop het, kan nie wag om te begin organiseer en alles te label nie Babakamer is eerste op my lys!
