Now i know what u mean that the first few days are busy with a newborn. Not only them but everyone involved too.

So our baby girl was born 23.01.15 @ 4:05. What a blessing.

I gave normal birth. Quite hectic but got through it in the end with the best support from hubby and a great midwife too.

We got discharged a from hospital and are home now.

I hope the pics will work from my phone. Hope everyone are enjoying their little blessings.

With my last one I did the same thing. I just never believed it was the real thing.

On Friday evening we got back from being out. I felt fine just some intense braxton hicks but not painful. I went to bed but was tossing and turning. I eventually got up and went to watch TV as the contractions started getting a little more uncomfortable. Still I didn't think it was the onset of labour as they didn't feel regular and not that sore. At about 4 in the morning (i hadn't slept a wink) I decided to have a bath which felt awesome. When I got out the bath they seemed to be coming a little closer together. I gathered that something had to be going on so I woke up my hubby and told him it was time. Got to the hospital just after 5 am. The nurse examined and said I was already 7 cm dilated. Went through to the labour ward, gynae arrived and he was born at 5:35 am.

I think if it is not your first pregnancy then you need to get to the hospital as soon as you feel anything. With subsequent pregnancies you dilate a lot faster then with your first. If it's your first and you going the natural route then they say staying at home as long as you can is best. My first took 7 hours once I got to the hospital and second was 45 mins.

Congrats on your boy. Sjoe thats close. How did it happen that way. Would you like to share? Thats what im most afraid off. That i wont make it in time. Im not taking any meds so not for that reason but just dont want baby to be born in the car.

Congratulations on all the babies, they are absolutely gorgeous! !

I hardly ever posted in the group but was always keeping up to date with the goings on.

I had my little guy on 17 January, a week before his due date. He weighed 3.270 and was 49 cm long. This was my 3rd boy (others are 7 and 5). I got to the hospital 30 mins before he was born. Second time haven't made it in time to have anything except gas for pain. All total worth it in the end. I came out of hospital on Monday morning. He is doing great and is such a good little boy.

I hope those ladies that are left don't have too much longer to wait and wish you a good delivery.
