Joans, my cousin had 2 babies at panorama and she was very happy! I'm at Cape Town medi clinic.

Eerstens, CONGRATS! Looking forward to sharing all the ups and downs in the coming months, dis mos lekker om te kan chat met iemand wat deur dieselfde as jy gaan!

Eerste post hierso, whoop whoop! I'm due for a new years baby (literally 1 Jan), totally unexpected! (I didn't know it but I was already 4 weeks pregnant at my wedding, oops!) It came as a big shock, as DH and I were planning to start TTC in about 1 and a half years time, but only because DH has a very low morphology count (2%) and the docs said we should start soon, and the chances of conceiving naturally are slim to none.

So dis op die ou eind, al is dit baie vroeg (ek is maar 23, DH 27) en het ek en manlief eers nou begin op die been kom finansieel, 'n baie "happy accident". DH was op die honeymoon nog in trane oor hy baie gestres was daaroor, hy wil vreeslik graag kinders he (meanwhile was ek toe al 5 weke swanger, haha!)

I've had my first scan, did that at 7 weeks (my OB is my DH's Aunt, so when we told her she immediately insisted on driving to her office and having a scan there and then). Strong hartbeat, placenta and everything looking good so far. Dis nogals lekker om die hartjie te sien, maak mens rustiger! Next scan is on the 2nd, will be 9 weeks then. Anxious to see the heartbeat again and know everything is still as it should be!

MommyMe yeah I'm feeling the bloating, its quite bad

Nadia, sounds like we're on the same page. Also constantly queasy, exhausted and some headaches. Feeling quite sorry for myself most of the time but either I'm getting better at managing it, or its getting a bit better now.

I see there are a lot of Capetonians on here, nice! Anyone else going to Panorama Medi clinic for their care? I'm with Dr Mari Pienaar there. (lucky she's family!)

Nadia, i feel ok actually quite good. Was worrying because i dont feel anything.

I think the first few weeks until the scan is always stresful. Cant wait for movement to start.

im very bloated.do u also have that?
