Hi Ladies,

RonelleB - Oh, no, my heart goes out to you!! My dog is also like one of my children, she is like a shadow, she follows me everywhere. I think I would really struggle to cope with such a loss especially now where one already feels vulnerable and emotional. You will be in my thoughts.

Nelsn - So glad the Chiro helped!! I have never been to one, I should probably visit one oneday since I normally get a lot of back pain and spasms. Thinking of you in these last few days. Keep us updated about whether you are doing the C-sec on thursday or not!!

Faffymum - I had a few weeks of those dizzy spells, I didn't quite faint as in loose conciousness, but things became all hazy and out of focus. Luckily I didn't hit anything when I fell. My blood pressure was slightly on the lower side but it wasn't extremely low. My iron levels were just under what is seen as normal but also not extremely low. I think it is worth while to check those things out since it can cause dizziness. I think there is a reason why it is commonly accepted that women stop working at 36 weeks...it really can become very difficult to keep going on like normal. Hope you can try and take things slightly slower at work. good news that your Dr. is willing to let you go up to 42 weeks...

My hubby managed to put in the built in cupboards for my LG this weekend, as this will be the storage space for baby no. 2 too. Feeling relieved that it is almost done, since everything was literately on a pile on the study floor !! Now just the cupboards for the study and it may seem as if we live like human beings and not like cave people.

So funny that I commented how I am going to have everything ready and packed early on - ha ha ha!! I have realised my hospital bags are still not completely packed and ready. Will have to that ASAP!!
I have cooked a few freezer meals, but hope that I will be able to do a lot more still - one of the most important helpful things once baby is born.

I have purchased a few gifts in advanced for friends that I know that will be having their birthdays in the next couple of months so that I don't have to go into shopping malls looking for last minute gifts.

So...was supposed to meet my new back-up gynie today and we waited 2,5 hours and then we left, she had a medical emergency and the receptionist kept saying that she will be there any minute...So decided to just go and see my GP who is also a Gynie at our clinic and do a general check-up tomorrow.

RonelleB..so sorry to hear. I would be devastated. I adore our pets as well. I have a little bunny who is 3 years old and they live up to 10 years and over..and if that little guy had to get sick I would lose it. I have sat with him at home twice when he had tummy issues. He is my first baby. Same with our two dogs. Our puppy broke his leg when he was a few months old and I cried all day at work because he didn't understand why he was in pain and was left with strangers The worst is that you can't explain to them what is happening.

My heart goes out to you and I hope your doggy is not in pain.

Ronelle@ I have 2 dogs and love them dearly so understand the love you have for your pup. I cant imagine what you are going through. You have been with you pet for very long not to feel this way. Thinking of you.
Faffy@ you are fortunate , alot of gyneas (even my one on my first pregnancy) was not keen on waiting more than 40 weeks. I am sure you will be having your shower soon.
Newbie how are you doing? Just got back from my Chiro session and it was great. Feel so much better.

Hi ladies,

Today, I need some moral support of a different nature... My pup (15 yr old Boerboel boy) has been ill for a couple of weeks now, having pneumonia on and off. Took him to vet last week and got more antibiotics etc but he was just not getting better. Had a rough night with him last night, no sleep, kept vomiting and had blood spots in vomit, won't eat or drink yet somehow he still keeps going. Took him back to vet this morning early. They did chest xrays and dr says the cancer tumors in his lungs are monstrous now. They're covering everything. No antibiotics or any other meds will make a difference anymore. Vet is usually quite optimistic, this was the first time I heard her suggest that it is time for us to let him go. My heart is broken. Into a thousand pieces. I am sitting here at work trying to hold everything together but it is not working. We can only get back to Vet later this afternoon so this wait and sitting and thinking about everything is killing me softly.

I know not everyone feels same about pets, but to me this was my child for the last 15 years. The being that has been with me through all my good and bad times, unconditionally loving me when I thought no one else did or would. I was so hoping he would see and meet his little sister in April, but now that will not happen... I can't stop crying.

Starryeyed, Glad you are home. So exciting about the photoshoot. Think I am going to do one soon as well. Maybe this weekend. My hubby's best friends has a super fab camera, so we can just do our own thing. Very excited.

Sho ladies. Not sure how I am going to cope for another 3 weeks at work. This morning I had a bit of a dizzy spell. I was working and the next thing I know I am seeing stars and felt faint and nauseous..had to sit on the tiled floor to get cool and be sitting incase I passed out. Sho that was intense. Think it was my low blood pressure or iron...also ate chocolate this morning, so maybe a blood sugar spike and dip. Anyways, I feel fine now.

I am very grateful that my gynae is happy to let me go to 42 weeks but I am hoping not go after due date..it's fine, but I will maybe do a reflexology session on due date just to help baby along. We will all have our own journey through this...so lets see what happens and I hope that each of you have a lovely experience.

Gloie@ that must have been so adorable, they grow so fast. I have tried nipple stimulation but my nipples are so sore I couldnt carry on. All of a sudden they are extremely sensitive:o.
Faffy@did you have your shower? How did it go?

Today is hot in Pmb and it seems I hope I can survive this heat. Going to do some steps before the sun becomes unbearible.

Oh yes, another thing about the SnS, its sounds like a hardcore thing to have done, but if I remember correctly the midwife told me then that it will only really make a big difference if your body ials ready. Ie if you are thinning out and effacing (hope those are the correct terms).
