Hi Ladies!
FAffymom - thank you, yes, we are so grateful we got to see her face, apparently your can really only see the back or bum sometimes! Mmmm....yes those Lindor balls....

I find it interesting that so many ladies crave chocolate especially in their 3rd trimester - we can't be all wrong with babies needs hey?! I agree, the relaxations CD's does help! Even my husband falls asleep in no time.
Nels - I have also had period like pain and lower back pain the past week. I feel the same as you, don't know what to make of it?! It didn't last too long and didn't worsen over a period of time so I am thinking it is just the normal stretching and uncomfortableness of the 3rd trimester? But we should monitor it if it gets worse. If I am correct you are more or less due last week March or first week April (not that babies come when we plan or think they should come!)? I am due around 8 - 13 April, but we all know it can go even 2 weeks past that date!
Starryeyed - So wonderful to hear your friends have been supporting you. It is in tough times like these that one is just blown away by friend's loyal support and acts of kindness. I can totally understand that you feel so emotional at this stage! A first time pregnancy is already laden with so many uncertainties and questions that adding to that bed rest is quite a challenge - hope you can be loving and nurturing towards yourself in this difficult time.
Newbiemom - I agree on the magnesium! I am also taking my magnesium/calcium vitamins and I believe it helps. I am glad I am not the only one feeling very emotional. It really is a crazy roller coaster ride. I am most frustrated with feeling irritated with almost everything. My fuse just seems very short and I don't feel like a great parent at this stage to my 5 year old...I am also clumsy, have cut myself by accident and keep dropping things on the floor (I get a lot of practise with the squats). Also feeling the tiredness creeping in and the insomnia...
Last night I suddenly became extremely dizzy and it felt as if I was about to faint. I just suddenly fell sideways and next moment I was on the floor. Shame, poor hubby got such a fright! I didn't actually pass out but I lost a few seconds and not sure what happened. During the night my hands felt like needles and pins. My feet are swollen and I don't have a pair of shoes that fit right now. Perhaps it is just the extreme heat wave we are having at the moment. Anyway, seeing my midwife on Thursday and will mention everything to her.
I like what you said about this all being motivation to get the baby out (at the right time!). I guess it is all part of the well designed plan of labour.
But then I feel the baby kick and move around and can't wait to meet her!!!
Thinking of everyone!
