Hi Ladies,
Daerhel - what a lovely though of finishing at the end of the year :) I've still got a long way to go before finalising my degree. I'm half way now but it was a conscious decision to have kids and study... i'll make use of my support group.
Meags- sorry to hear about your blood pressure problems. hope you feel better soon.. feeling dizzy is the worst. wow - 10 weeks is a long wait before the next scan, you must be so excited. Good luck with the studying that lies ahead.. hopefully you get the time and energy soon to complete it.
May you all have a wonderful weekend. the cold front has reached us this side. I'll spend most of my weekend indoors in the bed.

Hi everyone!

Oh thank goodness this week is over!! Hubby has been away, returning tomorrow. I have been suffering with dizziness/fainting. My BP is really low (80/60) and there isnt much that can be done. been really hard having to walk to/from the school, walking to buy groceries etc while feeling so weak!!!!

Otherwise I am ok. My scan is next thursday morning. I cannnot wait. its been 10 weeks since my last scan!!!! Desperate to see this little baby and know what he/she weighs :silly:

I too am studying (or meant to be!!) to be an international lactation consultant. I need to complete my course by January 2016. Have only done 2 of the 12 modules. I was really hoping to be at least 90% complete by the time baby arrives as I really don't think I'll find much time after the birth to finish it up, having the baby plus my older son plus we are travelling quite a bit. So best I hurry up and get some more studying done!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck with those studies Ctelly. :)
I'm still praying I've passed this subject.... I know I managed all the formulas and so on quite well, but messed up a bit on the theory. Skim read the final chapter as it was so short I figured they couldn't ask too much out of it and Murphy's law that's where almost all the theory questions were from...
Still hoping!
If I've passed I'll take a break till September then write my final subject in November, if not I'll have to rewrite in November...

Have an awesome day ladies!!
It's Friday!!!! Whoop Whoop!!

Hallo, I'm postponing the packing of the bag and the laundry.. will probably do it at the end of July. OOOH.. Thanks Daerhel, I'm sure that your exam results will be very positive! Please keep me posted. my exam results should be out by the 6th of July.. or as it becomes available. next week i'm starting with my next subjects. I plan to study in July, skip August and start again in Sept. Exams are in November but I have 5 assignments to complete before Baby arrives.. Luckily only 2 subjects. Husband also has one exam to complete in November.

Hi Ladies!

Hope you're feeling better after being treated so horribly Kiara!
Don't you let other people tell you how to be a good mom, you are one!

Ctelly, That's awesome news. So glad all is well and that little Alexander is strong and healthy.
Good luck with the bag packing! I tried packing mine the other day and gave up, seeing as half of what I'd packed I unpacked from one bag to pack and take when we visited DF's mum in Pretoria!
Lol! Guess I better wait with the packing till later.

A little nervous today.. I realised with a shock I get my exam results next Friday (3rd). Why I'm nervous today about it I don't know lol
When do you get yours Ctelly? Still holding thumbs that all went well for you!

Good afternoon Ladies, trust you are all well? Just came back from my dr appointment. Baby is doing well, his growth is on par, weighs 2.128kg. he is still lying with his head downwards into my pelvis (Bladder) and his legs underneath my chest - ready for delivery day. Dr is overall very happy however my iron level are quite low so she gave me some pills and sent me for another blood test. We also booked my bed, so that is left to do is packing the bags, washing baby's clothes and finalising my UIF stuff. New EDD is 14 AUG.. But we'll see..:)

hope you all have a great afternoon. Stella are you better ?

Daerhel, I was gutten and angry... At the school there are a lot of moms that basically hang out in the parking area. Always hovering at school and we can't all do that, can we... Thanks for making me feel better. I was really upset.

CTelly, enjoy your check up tomorrow. I've already booked my bed. I did it at 28 weeks. It was exciting because it made it all so real. WOW, now is the birth plan and packing the bags! So exciting.
