Wow Daerhel, what an awesome way to kick off a Monday!

Hi Daerhel - how sweet of your DF. You must be so excited!!
I didn't do anything for Husband for Father's day.. as I'm still busy doing my countdown gifts.. by this stage he figured it out and he knows when the next gifts is coming.. haha.. so far i gave him a pair of small boy shoes with a note "100 days to go" and a father related quote.. on 80 days i gave him a photo frame containing details of his surprise Dad'chelor party. the next gift will be on 50 days (1 July) - it will be a bath book and bath toys cause i told him that bathing little Alexander will be his duty.. he is very excited..

Daerhel - i think our babies are trying to communicate on the forum haha.. mine is also kicking up a storm as i type this msg.

Sorry to hear you're still sick Stella. Holding thumbs the meds kick in and you get better soon.

I'm feeling much better. Got some much needed rest Friday afternoon. Phoned DF to come pick me up and went to bed! Boy did I have a heckuva headache when I woke up (after 4 hehe) but I felt much better.
I've put it down to stress. Can't think what else it could've been, but will monitor myself this next week, and definitely mention it to the gynae next week.
Maximum of 6 weeks work left!

Baby seems to have moved. I don't feel her head up under my ribs anymore. Still have pain in the muscles there if I sit too long, but much more manageable now.
Hehe she's kicking up a storm as I type, as if trying to get my attention!

I got DF a beautiful card and a straight razor shaving set he'd been looking for for ages for Father's Day.
His reaction.... "What's this for, I'm not a dad yet??"
"Of course you are!" I told him, and as if to prove it little S kicked like mad!

On a better note...
My dear fiance surprised me this morning, just after I got to work.
My manager came in and told me he's authorized my leave for the 7th July, and I'm all like "what for, my appointment is next week?"
Just at that point DF calls.... He's arranged for us to be married that morning!
I'm still in shock!

Sorry you're still unwell Stella, hope the meds kick in soon and there's nothing besides a cold/flu going on. Did you get good rest on the weekend? Are you back at work today? I hope you feel better soon!

What did you all so for Father's Day? I nearly missed it all together until my sister in law reminded me on Thursday! Managed to make a quick plan, took DH out for lunch and put together a little prezzie. I'm thinking of taking a picture of him with our little boy just after he's born, and then updating the pic each year and putting the ones I remove into a father/son scrapbook that will grow over time (keeps it easy for future Father's day gift ideas )

I asked Dr what the pain/cramps were in my cervix area, he says that it is just pressure from bubba's head. Also asked him why he wants to see me every week in July, he says that it is just a precaution, he does normal checks of the placenta and baby's growth.

Ctelly, on Friday, the day of my scan I was 33 weeks and 3 days along. Dr said the average was 2.2 or 2.4 kgs, baby is 2kg's at the moment which isn't a big difference.

BeautifullyAngie, your profile pic is just gorgeous! I woke up 10min before I had to leave for work this morning, thankfully I was on time and in before anybody else!

i am stil feeling like crap and this flu is getting the better of me - going on 3 weeks now. went to a dr on thursday and got Antibiotics, but it is still not much better. seeing gynie on thursday, will maybe ask her to do blood test if i'm still not better, maybe i have something else going here
was off sick thursday and friday.
