Angie, i think they will probably be more or less the same. but i cant really say, i used the carriwell pads and the carriwell netted panties in the hospital. they are not great (emotionally ), but its great to just throw away after wearing them.
i had a lot of fluid and birth was messy with fluid everywhere. and i also had a lot of bleeding afterwards, so the disposable ones was practicle for me.
i cannot really compare, as i didn't use anything else.
i have alot of fluid again, and this time the amount of bleeding will not be a shock to me, but i will again use the netted throw away ones.

Glad you all enjoyed the expo. i definately needed more money, there are so many nice things

Ctelly, you are going to be very thankfull for all those wipes. i only started buying wipes when G was over 10 months old.
and looking forward to some baby shower photos

o and a very big highlight of my weekend - my little man took his first steps yesterday, he is 13 and a half months now. still a bit over emotional about it...hehehe but he was just to adorable for words

Hi Prenessa, glad you bought some stuff Our baby shower is in 2 weeks time then I'll buy the rest.. I don't even have 1 nappy yet.. not sure which ones to buy or which ones Baby will be comfy in.. for some reason everyone is buying us wet wipes.. I've got a whole cupboard full of them.. haha.
I bought some nursing bras from Woolies. it was R280 for 2, someone advised me that the Woolies ones are more comfy than the Cariwells? not sure though?

Yes Ctelly I went to the Expo on Friday.
It was not too hectic . Did buy a few stuff like the booties/ hair bands/ Carriwell maternity bra's, Tiny love gym and rocker.
Hubby bought toys.

I was at Dischem looking through mom essentials. I saw a whole lot of maternity pad brands... I am so clueless, I didn't even know there was such a thing as maternity panties Which is best ladies?

glad the exam went well.

i was also at the expo. there are just soooo many nice things.
i bought some cloth nappies, 2 pairs of shoes, Oh Lief products (i just love them), toothpaste and Zinplex for G
so i the end i pretty much got things for G and not really anything for little brother....oeps

going for my 4D scan on friday and i just cant wait.

Good morning Ladies, How are you all doing? Everything is well this side although I'm having severe lower abdominal pain (again). I don't generally have any issued during this pregnancy except for the UTI. I'm drinking Citro Soda but it feels as helpful as Panado (so not at all )
So glad you Sis is excited about your pregnancy Daerhel. Hoping that the rest of the journey will be great for both of you and your relationship.
We went to the Baby expo on Saturday - did anyone else go, how did you experience it ? we bought the Angelcare baby monitors, some wet wipes, a Joie pram and car seat and a camp cot.
It was a nice day - just so many people.. I think I missed a lot of specials due to the amount of people there.
