Kimmy, my daughter used it for 3 years and we never had a problem that any of the TT bottles leaked or spilled.

Tommie tippie. Never tried it but i think its a cute bottle..doesnt it leak?

Oooooooh, I LOVE Tommee Tippee... Especially if you want to breast feed and have hubby feed baba with expressed milk.

Even if you're using formula - it's an amazing bottle!!!

I used it with my daughter and never even LOOKED at another bottle. My friends on the other hand who used Dr Brown and Avent, constantly complained about leaking bottles.

I even saw the other day that Avent brought a wide neck bottle out, the exact same shape as the Tommee Tippee..But @ double the price!!!!

Nuk I believe is also awesome, but I don't like the idea of that massive teat... It always looks to me if there's no space left in the poor baby's mouth...

I did however get one of those NUK newborn gift boxes as a gift, so I'll have a look later if I want to use it, or go and swop it at Baby City for something else.

Thanks for the advice on the creams, powders ets.... I created a document saving all the names etc that you girls mention so that I can add that to my shopping list.

I have come across this website, www.thebabyshoppe.co.za , I noticed that most of the stuff that I looked at is at least R200 cheaper than any other shop or website. We are considering the Chelino Tech Rider travel system, I have looked everywhere and they cost the same R2699, this site offers it at R2499 and only R120 courier fee from door to door... so including the delivery cost it is still cheaper.

Back ache... I am definately going to try those salts... as the only time my back and ribs feel better is when I am lying flat on my back and when standing, I have bought a snuggle buddy pillow (more a travel/camping pillow) which I use when sitting to support my back and that helps a little. I have also read that it might be due to my kidneys suffering a bit, so I will as my gynea on thursday as well.

I am 25 weeks today. My c-sec date is the 9th of Oct. Everybody says that "oh wow... it is around the corner and that time will fly past like I can not believe" but to be honest.... if I think 3 more months of being uncomfortable with this pain... and it might get worse closer to the end.... I want to cry.

With regards to photo shoots... I on the other hand don't like the look of a naked preggy belly... hell I don't like to look at my own so we decided not to do the photo shoot... it will only remind me of how uncomfortable I was.

What bottles are you girls going to get, I have heard such great things about Tommy Tippee, what is your take on it?

Ok, so my electrician says that you can just buy a 100w infrared globe (about R180) and use it in any lamp. Def going to do that coz i used my moms last time

With my first i had induced labour at 38 weeks and she was obviously ready to come coz i was only in labour for hour and half and she was born. was so quick we didnt even have time for a epidural!

@Louise Marie its a infrared light not a uv, my bad The one i used was on the back of a hand massager. they usually use it to ease muscle pain and so on.
