The base straps in with the seatbelt. Exactly the same as the Peg Perego base.
So then you just "click" your seat into the base.

The seat has it's own safety harness

@LouiseMarie, shes very pleased with her Baby Bugz (sofar, her lg only 2 weeks old today ) The only thing is that it doesnt fold as small as she would have hoped. Especially when you have the carricot on. And those big wheels take up quite alot of space!!

Oh yes - and on the babybuggz... The car seat doesn't have a suitable base. So you have to strap the eat in every time.

With the Chelino Switch you can buy the Chelino F010 base @ R700 and just clip the seat in... much more convenient!

Juanita, is your friend happy with the babybuggz? I really love to look and feel of it, but after that other mommy was so disappointed with it, I'm very hesitant...

The Chelino Switch is my "head" choice... It's has the convenient umbrella fold, also is a 3in1 and it got best stroller award in 2014 in South Africa:

Unfortunately it only comes in the one design, but it's starting to grow on me... and I love the fact that the "always dirty first" areas, are covered in the leather feel pvc...
This pram is also the replica of the Peg Perego Switch, which retails at R12k... So I think it's worthwhile at R4500.

Louise Marie, I like those baskets (the wooden ones). i actually bought some other wooden ones (whithout the cotton lining) going to use it as a "diaper caddy" so will have one caddy down stairs, and a camp cot and then one caddy upstairs. That way i dont have to run up and down for supplies everytime i have to do a nappy change.
