Agree Juanita!!! I also get the neglected feeling some days, but lately I see it more as a blessing than anything else, cause as mentioned - I can catch up on some well deserved rest without feeling guilty.

It will also come in very handy for when I need to bond with baby and establish her routines and breastfeeding etc.

I have a friend who's like that... She refuses to leave her children alone at home with her husband, cause she says he'll forget about them - then they won't be fed etc :-D

OMW cant believe she just took those vouchers and thought she could get away with it. Glad to hear that Vitality are keeping on top of it!!

I can tell that most mommies on here have good husbands and i feel so blessed to be one of them. I know of women that have not such great husbands. they wouldnt even leave their kids with their husbands for the day!! Leandi and her dad are very close, so close that i feel neglected some days And living on the farm shes just grown closer to her dad. They are always doing something together! i think its absolutely awesome and i still get a tear in my eye when i see how much they love each other!!
i think that will be my saving grace with a new baby in the house.

Oh well - where there's a will, there's a way. I hope the vouchers were worth it, cause there is most definitely going to be repercussions. At least I'll get issued new vouchers.

I can't believe some people are so dodgy (re your Vitality Vouchers!). I'm glad it's been escalated! I wonder how many other people have been tricked out of their vouchers!

Juanita - I know EXACTLY what you mean {hugs}...

It's like all of a sudden, I'm now the "bad" parent. Luckily my girl has an amazing bond with her daddy, so I get a lot of slack there being pregnant, taking naps etc. But like you say - one day all will be great and next moment is World War 3 in our house. Then it's jealousy overload!!!

Oooh, and she's a master now with manipulating hubby and me against each other! If the one doesn't want to give in on something, then she runs to the other parent... And we both put our foot down, she runs to Ouma & Oupa (who stays in a granny flat on the property)... So she's got her bread buttered ALL OVER!

Unfortunately I'm the strict parent, as she just turns daddy completely around her finger...

I have however decided - should I ever go and buy baby stuff again, I won't take her along She makes me feel too guilty and then I end up buying for her instead of baby. So next time I will arrange a play date fro her and I can go shopping in peace and quiet, without being rushed and guilt-tripped.

Gosh I must sound like a terrible mom if I read through this now...But trust me: any mom with an older child, will be able to relate

Okay, so on my "bad luck with my Vitality vouchers" from the weekend... Turns out the lady who took my vouchers, actually stole my vouchers!

I logged a query with B/T r Us yesterday about it, and it was escalated and currently busy with an internal investigation. On the other side Vitality is pretty pee'd off with them, cause as the Vitality guy said to me this morning, they see it as fraud. So Vitality is now also on B/T r Us case to get answers as to why this happened. According to Vitality ALL vouchers are still valid and redeemable.

Louise Marie its really hard as i feel i cant give in every single time that will just end up costing me a fortune, but on the other hand i really dont want Leandi to feel like shes being put on the back seat. Ive already started explaining that sussie will need ALOT of attention and that she will need me to take care of her. Some days she is more giving than others, she will take her too small clothes and put it in sussies cupboard but other days eek, then you just need to steer clear!! This morning out of the blue she said when sussie comes shes going to sleep with her door closed so that when she cries she doesnt wake her up
