hope you all had a good break with the long weekend!

@Pillpusher how did it go? They have a beautiful winnie the pooh set at dischem is actually a lovely theme as they have it everywhere!

Im in Jhb and will be having my second at Mulbarton Hospiital with Dr Dwarka, they were amazing with my first and when I had food poisoning at 5 month preggies so im really happy with their outstanding service.

Im feeling really good of late, finally with no nausea and a little extra energy im back into dancing and doing such an awesome pregnancy workout at gym, im feeling really good about myself, even though I am showing really badly at only 11 weeks. Ive even been asked if they sure im not carrying twins or that they havent got the weeks wrong so eeck im stressing.

I wanted to know from the second time moms if any of you have started experiencing round ligament pain as yet? not too sure if its that, so early, but I am having pulling stabbing pains in my lower abdomen on the sides which I dont recall so early on with my first?

Anyway I feel like I was just at the doctor the other day and will be seeing her next week tuesday, I think we have a lot of excitement over the next few weeks with everyone going for their next scans.

Im really hoping they will know what the sex of baby is, I know wishful thinking at 12 weeks but im worried my LG is so fixated on the fact that its a baby sister that she is going to be extremely dissapointed if its a baby brother so hoping to find out asap to start changing her mind if it is a brother. We already have a name for her baby RY (as my daughter) calls her (him) so looking up names that start with RY and RI lol... anybody else got names in mind?

And just bought first "big thing" for baby. Takealot had Winnie the Pooh camp cots on their daily deals today. We're going for classic Winnie the Pooh and Beatrix Potter for our nursery so ties in nicely... although the camp cot will be in mommy and daddy's room.

I also have very little symptoms, just certain days I get reminded that I am pregnant when some nausea surfaces and the growing bump. Occassional body pains, etc. Only daily symptoms is extreme fatigue and sleepiness and I am getting some spats of porridge brain already.

This is my second pregnancy and in my first pregnancy I had heartburn from 6 weeks until baby arrived.

But with the second one I wonder why am I not feeling anything else I suppose text book answer all our pregnancies are different I'm taking it day by day and enjoying the experience as I go along.

Sometimes I think we should be happy we don't have such servere symptoms as others, but I google and self diagnose as well lol.

Oh see I almost forgot - porridge brain, try eating a banana each morning if you can stomach it, really helps with leg cramps!!

Hey Ladies,

Mmm I'm not sure if I'm relieved or terrified or both! My all day all night sickness has almost totally gone I'm 11 weeks 2days now and my next scan/appointment is in a weeks time! My boobs are still very sensitive and growing daily and I'm still exhausted and a moody cow...never did I think there would be a time in my life when I would say that "the nausea was kind of comforting"!!!!

I did myself a dis-service by googling this morning and while a lot of the posts say its normal for symptoms to back off around 11 weeks there are also a fair amount of horror stories too

I think its the combination of worry, stress and exhaustion mixed in with preg emotions that makes me feel like I'm loosing the plot half the time!

Anyway hope you all have a good weekend, I have an Economics exam to study for so I'll be mostly glued to books...

Hi ladies... well I'm in sleepy little PE and will be using Life St Georges Hospital. Will be using a new gynae from 24 weeks since mine doesn't do OBS anymore.

I took a sick day yesterday, had horrible cramps in my legs And am starting to have trouble sleeping since I read that it's not too good to lie on your back and every so often sleeping on my side gets a bit much. I find myself half wedging myself between the mattress and my husband so that I'm sort of on my back, but still tilted to the left. I think I'll start needing to wedge a pillow behind my back.

Seeing little one again on Monday. I'm a lot more relaxed now after the last scans, but still get nervous. I know I'll probably start getting tired of being kicked, but I really can't wait to feel baba. It would be so reassuring since all I've got to go on now is my growing bump (and occasionally some other symptoms and the hunger). But I know how paranoid I got when I was having fewer symptoms since there's often some person who'll say that when that happened to them it was bad news (when you google things).

I actually wrote a blog about things people would say that I found were annoying me especially during 1st trimester, although it seems that some of them will be applicable throughout pregnancy if any of you want to share:

Second pregnancy, currently 9 weeks and going strong.

Hi all, I am from Pretoia east and am at Kloof Hospital, my FS was Dr Pentz, but will now be going to Dr Grasie, my first appointment with het is the 11th of May and will then be exactly 17 weeks.

Feeling good and a bit more relaxed as the wedding plans are keeping my mind busy and I finalised alot yesterday, now just get the invites done this weekend so it can go out soonest. Oh it is so pretty and my tables are going to look fabulous!
