PP, thanks for the info. I have hear of the theory of micro-organisms and probiotics with vaginal birth, but was not aware of the micro-birthing. Very interesting! Are there reasonable studies to support the theory? I don't think Sunninghill does this (at least it wasn't an option 3 years ago) but I think at least investigating it is worth it...
LouiseMarie, we also had my LG's 2nd birthday party at Spur, and it was a great experience. But since we have now moved into a bigger house with a large garden, hubby is very keen to have this party at home. He has promised to arrange EVERYTHING, but has done nothing so far and there is now only 3 weeks left, and about 35 adults and 20 kids on the guest list. I just called him and started crying over the phone

I had really hoped after the gynae's strict warning yesterday, that he would get the idea and start taking some of the stress off, but I'm left with either nagging him to do stuff (which I hate and is stressful to me) or doing things myself at this late stage. Sorry, I'm not normally this negative or hormonal
Stelliesmama, so sorry to hear about all the negative comments. And your baby is not big, 1.8kg for 30 weeks is quite normal! Like I said, mine measured at 1.9kg for 32 weeks and that is considered small! Anyway, having a slightly larger baby is to both your advantage! My friend who is also a doctor was very stern with me last night about getting some rest so my baby can grow, and in the process listed all the risks of a low birth weight baby (less than 2.5kg at birth). And really, those risks are NOT something you want. So if anyone remarks on your size or baby's size, just realize that you are having a healthy pregnancy and will have a healthy, happy baby!
