Good Morning Ladies

@LouiseMarie - love the 4D pics - you can see they are siblings. My boy has already settled head down. My doctor said that he will not change position again before the birth.

I had another horrible night last night. I am so uncomfortable. I am not sure if any of you have experienced this but my baby lets me know when he isn't comfy. The last couple of night when I lay in one side he would kick and push against the bed until I turn around. Oh and this go's on during the night. Every time I turn he would be quiet for an hour or so and start kick and pushing for me to turn. This is very tiring after 3 nights of no sleep.

I went home yesterday afternoon to try and sleep but with no prevail it is as if he hates it when I lay down. I've tried Preggy pillows and everything

And I can feel him kicking and pushing with his feet against my ribs and diaphragm. The 4D scan also confirmed this. The lady said she can only imagine how difficult breathing would be because she could see him pushing and kicking me there .

Anyway just wanted to share my symptoms - I am not sure if he will settle down a bit but if not I will just have to hang in there.

Elmarise's didn't load for some reason...

Hi Mommies!

Turns out my little girl now has the terrible flu & bronchitus... Had her on the nebulizer with some cortsisone, but still no improvement. Kept her at home today to try doctor her better myself. She "looks" fine and is very energetic, but the moment the starts coughing it makes one cringe!

Ok, so we had such an awesome 4D!!! Turns out our little one decided sitting upright is much more comfortable... she turned back upright/breach.

The most amazing thing was looking at the screen and seeing a replica of Elmarise's face!!! They look EXACTLY the same!!! What do you moms think? First picture is of Elmarise's 4D in 2009 and second picture is Larissa 2015

Lauz, what ive realised in pregnancy is everybody knows something. And yes my tummy has gone down abit, my dr confirmed that too but its unfair to be told ill give birth next week , i feel terrible yes, but i think i know my body hahaha
So you just say ok and move on.

HVDB, wow, that sounds exciting!! You're about 36 weeks now right? Holding all my thumbs and toes... And yes, the compactum is awesome!!

Juanita, so cool to be back on here and discussing newborns again I think you are completely right, some babies are fussy about nipples etc, and others really just want to get the milk at all costs We were blessed that my LG was the latter, because I knew literally nothing about the subject, but that apparently doesn't guarantee that the new baby will be the same. I would like to breastfeed again until 6 months, like I did with my first, because I have a history of allergies, but we'll see what happens.

My thoughts on breastfeeding are the following; It is not the be-all and end-all of motherhood (and I feel pretty much the same about natural birth). I think it is more important for mom and baby bonding, that mommy must be happy and calm with as little stress as possible and get to enjoy her baby. Us women get judged enough for our choices, I don't think we should put excessive pressure on ourselves to perform in this regard as well. Yes, I believe breast is best, but not to the exclusion of all else. If it becomes a terrible stressful experience, then that is not to baby's (or mommy's) advantage. So I will see how things go this time, and hope for the best.

HVDB that's a beautiful compactum for that price - a bargain!

As for the pain keep an eye on it. If you keep getting them more regularly could very well be contractions!

Kimmy isn't it amazing how some people just know lol. I keep getting told my Lb is going to come in October, I don't think so at all I really think he will show earlier but most definitely in November not as early as October!
