Hello Pregnant Fairies

I hope you all had a good weekend, so I am glad to share we had a blast of a party on Saturday for my little princess, there was no time to get tired just enjoy the time with her friends and our family, she received loads of gifts and all the 26 kids left the party on a sugar high, lol but we had an awesome time.

So I actually didn't get a tired at the party as I thought, but officially at 22 weeks today and that means I am entering my 6th month of my pregnancy journey and now with the party planning behind me I can finally start planning for baby noon, who seems to be having it's own party in my belly currently, baby has been very active. At night I still get pins and needles in my thighs when I sleep too long on one side, but I am needing to pee less frequently as I think baby has raised up my belly and not completely on my bladder. Still feeling very low kicks but lotsa movement across my belly.

How are each of you doing? howz the symptoms and the baby movements?

So sorry to catch up so late.. I'm 20 weeks and 6 days now.

Got my scan today.just came back from scan centre. My little bittoo was all kicking hands n legs but was so shy to show face. Waited for sometime and they sent me home.

Otherwise all fine. So Monday I'm gonna meet doc and hopefully get a green signal for flight.

How u all doing.. I would love to do many crochet for all your little ones as a gift from me. But just not perfect yet..

@ nix - how is ur gran doing..she is so strong hey.

@ zaza - I just got a real party feel when u explained. Its nice to have so many people around and so much of happy energy around u. I wish I was there I want a party for my bday ..

@carmy - congrats on baby boy dear . I don't think edd changes.m but not sure.. My edd is on Dec 5 th. But how nice would it be if your actual delivery happens on 1 Jan .. Double party then

@ happi - hang in there dear..just a week for scan. Since I had mine today now I get the feel of u r like out of the world to see the little one there.. I wish my hubby was here to see that.. But I got the video . so will show him later.. Why is 4 d scan on Sept.
I had anamoly n 4d today itself. I guess that's not the way it works.. Does it.. May be in India they just wanna wrap up for the day.. They don't really bother much.

Anyways.. Wish u all a happy weekend..

One more quick question - how many opted for natural birth and how many for c section.. I would like to go for natural birth. Do doctors really wait for natural birth or they don't. Under emergency situations of course I would opt for c section. But to the maximum level I'm gonna stand by my choice.

How are you all feeling today? It is such a cold and rainy day in Pretoria today....

No fresh complaints on my side today. I am having my next scan on Tuesday, I will be 21 weeks then and cannot wait to see my little girl again

Hi Ladies

Been busy all day with the party preps and cleaning up, just relaxing a bit now.

All the baking done, décor up, everything is set, getting lotsa visitors tomorrow, cause it's my baby girls actual birthday, some relatives staying over until the weekend, so our house is full of buzz but my baby girl feels very special cause everyone is making such an effort.

I am feeling very emotional as I watch her and how fast she is growing up, I can still remember every detail from her birth to delivery like it was yesterday and the over whelming love I had when I got to meet her for the first time. And how I did not expect such a beautiful being to be part of my life. very emotional mummy today.

So it seems after Carmy all of you ladies who know the gender so far are having boys!!!! I probably gonna have the one girl of the pack lol.

@Carmy yes we all set for the party, looking forward to it. Know I will be exhausted afterwards but my baby girls happiness is so worth the tiredness. Congrats on the boy announcement, I know the gynae always keeps your original EDD even if baby grows larger or not. Unless you have an elective Caesar then you have a chance to plan the date of delivery. Baby looks awesome hey!

@Happi glad you ok, take it easy at work, I really thought you had a scan this week. How was your hospital tour? I will do mine once I am over 26 weeks. And yes time is flying suddenly.

@Lashy I have had such sushi cravings, but won't risk eating it.

Good Morning Everyone

How are we all doing? I am seriously getting over this cold weather - Dreaming about summer already, and the cute maternity outfits

So we had our scan on Tuesday and everything is going well - IT'S A BOY!!!!
I was hoping for a girl but I knew deep down inside it would be a boy - Anyway, we are over the moon Bug is growing really well, his GA measures at 17w5days, but I am only 16w1day - So he is growing quickly.

Do any of you perhaps know if this affects my EDD? Originally it was 4th Jan, but now it shows 24th Dec (Obviously, being such a weird time of year, I am anxious to know what my actual date will be.)

@ Lashy, I can definitely sympathize with the eating (That's why I thought Bug was a boy) My appetite is insane.. people keep asking what I am craving and answer is FOOD.. ALL THE TIME! LOL
Hmmmmm Sushi, I haven't thought about that in ages.
Hope your MS is subsiding?

@Nix, I am so sorry to hear about your Gran but am very glad she has taken a turn for the better. Its very difficult when they get to that age and get sickly. I am keeping her in my prayers for a peaceful and speedy recovery.

@Zaza, 2days till party time - Have you got everything in order?
Urgh, the reflux sounds awful!! I'm so glad you haven't had it again - That's terrible!
My hubby is definitely enjoying all the treats and snacks we have laying around nowadays, before the pregnancy we didn't keep any temptations in the house so now its like a sweet holiday for him - LOL! He also started with the fatigue when I was around 10weeks, some nights he even passed out before I did.

@Nisha, very cute hat!! I don't have the patience for crochet or knitting so I suppose I will have to rely on my mum for those items.. LOL

Nix, I am soooo glad that gran is awake now and eating. Yep older peoples fight for life amazes me.. such strength.. Especially when young people start taking their own lives..

Nisha, that lil hat is amazing.. I won't say that I will do it. Can I rather place orders with you to make for me

Zaza, my bf craved sushi a few weeks ago Lol dat was the last.. Unless he is stuffing his face during working hours so he doesnt have to share with me.. Lol..

I have been stashing chocolates and sweets in my bag and only eat it when I am in traffic.. (alone in the car) then I dont have to share.. LOKL..

Pls will someone pass my regards on to Zee, I have really been wondering how shes doing..

Anyway lemme go work..
