Jan / Feb 2017 Babies

Hope all you lovely ladies are doing well. Just a quick update and question from me.

Had the doppler scan Friday. All is well and c-section is scheduled for 24 December. Next appointment is 9 Dec. Bags are already packed and I'm wishing time would fly quicker.

Which nappies y'all think is best?

Nels you are carrying a big baba there...the 17th is my EDD and I'm hoping that we will not go beyond that. I'm sorry about the asthma, I speak healing in the name of our Lord Jesus.

Pokkeltjie looks lie you had a busy one, I sleep most of my weekends but had to attend a party yesterday, I can imagine how you felt when you did not feel your LO, good think you went to the doctor and everything is fine.

It is scary when you can't feel the movements.

You ladies are making me panic, I don't even have the bag let alone to pack...hahahaha I was telling hubby I will pack in a plastic bag.

I need to buy nappies and my breasfeeding pj's. otherwise other stuff I am col I just need to pack

@ Nels_n - glad all went well with your scan. Shoej 1.8kg already - they are gaining weight so quickly!
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your asthma - hope all goes well.
Haven't packed my & Lo's bags yet...I still have about 4-6 weeks to get them ready. We're going to start the nursery in 2 weeks - repainting it and moving all baba's furniture into the room Know how you feel re the shops on Black Friday...I had to pick up my daughter's birthday cake and bought a few goodies from Checkers after work and at 18h00 it was still crazzzzzeeee busy When is your next scan date?

AF - had a bit of a crazy weekend! We had a little birthday party at our house for my daughter and then hubby made a nice pot afterwards with a few of our family. Was quite a busy day. Knew I wouldn't feel much of LO's movements/kicks because of the up and down all day, but by the evening I still wasn't feeling much of her kicks or movements. Same thing on Sunday morning...so I got quite worried and was hoping nothing was wrong. Hubby took me to the hospital and they put the monitor on my tummy to follow baba's heartbeat & movement for 30 minutes and all seems to be fine. The heart rate is still very strong and she seemed to move around quite a bit. The dr said that it could just be that she moved in a position where I couldn't feel the movement as much. But he is happy and says that she is doing well...nothing to be worried about.
So hubby and I are really relieved Other than that all is well....bought a rocking chair for the nursery yesterday and can't wait to get her room ready!

Hello mommies

How is everyone doing?

Sorry no personals. Getting on the forum has been a nightmare so hi haven't read anyone's posts since I was last here. Somehow even the app is not allowing me to view anything till now.
AFM: I'm coping csection has been booked for 17/1/17, went for a scan yesterday and baby weighs +-1.80kg. Everything seems great. Am being admitted on Monday due to my persistent asthma. Busy doing the house floors and walls and more before baby arrives so life has been hectic. I haven't packed my baby bag yet. Have any of you packed? Bought a few different brands disposable nappies and some other toiletries for me and baba. Just need to sort out hospital booking.
Went to do some grocery shopping yesterday Big mistake. Was a nightmare. Thankfully was able to buy some groceries but will never do it on the same day as black Friday ever again.

Pokkeltjie - Congrats on LO (or not so LO) birthday , time does fly by quickly.

TanyaS - just love that little button nose so cute , glad you enjoyed the scan , cant wait for mine next Friday.

Spirited Mama - hope you are on the road to recovery, please post pics of your 4D scan , and take it easy , good luck with the exams.

Nnita - being at the end of the MA truly sucks but what can we do , luckily Jan is around the corner but I am sure we will be
exhausting our MA with baba expenses.

I dream't last night I had a Little girl, and she looked just like my daughter when she was small, now I am confused all along I have thought this is a little boy is my body telling me something different , we will just have to wait and see.

Hope you ladies are all taking it easy , we have lovely soft rain here today and I am working from home so don't have to be in traffic loving it!

AF - my first born is 7 today and can't believe how fast the time has gone and how fast she has grown to be such a beautiful little girl...still feels like just the other day when she was born Enjoy every moment ladies cause before you know it they are all grown up!
Nothing new my side...tummy is just growing bigger and bigger by the day, LO is kicking up a storm and then just the normal sleep depravation at night...besides being uncomfy & the hip pain, I now also get very hot during the night!
2 more weeks before I get to see my little one again...seems so far away

Morning Everyone,

Had my scans yesterday, baby kept hiding his face during the 4D but we went back and tried again after the gynae appointment

Everything looks fine still, no problems. He now weighs 1.4kgs at 28 weeks, so looks like it will be another big baby for me lol
