Hello everyone, hope your Tuesday is going well. If I was man down yesterday, today is worse. Dont know why kids cant just get sick during normal daylight hours. My youngest started vomiting around 1 this morning so that turned into a fun night. At least it seems to be out of his system (whatever it was). So we are hoping for some sleep tonight.

Anyway, found this today and thought it would be good for a laugh. www.momjunction.com/articles/gender-pred...n-the-womb_00400215/?

Hope everyone is doing well otherwise :)

Morning Ladies!

@Carien - Monday's are the worst for feeling so flat! I hope you manage to have an easy evening and tuck into bed early. Use this opportunity with hubby gone to hopefully get kids into bed early and then flop in front of the tv! All i want to do is watch that movie Tully now, it looks fantastic!

@Sparky - Yay for the first boy!! How exciting is that :woohoo: I have my 20 week on Friday and again so tempted to find out the gender! Honestly would be happy with either, not leaning in any direction.

@Salemein - Welcome hun! And I certainly do remember you from the TTC group. I'm so glad all is going well for you and I understand your desire for a csec, I would do the same quite honestly. I'm glad you got over your flu bug, I had it at 12 weeks and really struggled with it, i looked like rudolf eventually!

AFM, so on Saturday I was totally freaked out as I thought I felt baby move properly but wasn't sure so then on Sat evening while lying in bed it happened again and hubby could even feel! It was so incredible! Happened again last night while laying down. It has made everything even more real, like wow that was a serious movement and not a flutter. So incredible! And so amazing that hubby got to feel too  I have my 20 week anatomy scan on Friday so looking forward to getting more pics.

Morning ladies, hope everyone had a good weekend. We had another busy one so hoping for a little bit of a slower week. My husband is traveling this week which makes things a little more stressful for me, but I will manage :)

@Salemein, welcome to our group, don't think we are really particular about who joins, we just like catching up with each other :) Congrats on your little girl. I do remember you from the TTC 2018 group, and my heart still aches for your loss. Praying for a happy healthy pregnancy for everyone on our group

@Sparky - whoo-hooo!! Our first boy!! Congratulations! That is so exciting! I have two and I love my boys. We are still trying to wrap our heads around a little girl. We are super excited for her, but just having had 2 boys we know boys, my husband is still looking at me funny when I tell him he has to get used to fairies and all sorts of make-believe girly things, he does better with real things. If you are able to deliver naturally that is awesome. That is what our bodies are made to do, I tried with my first, was in labour for a long time and then had to go for emergency C. It was not my choice, but it had to happen, so I have made peace with it. Just make sure your doc is on board with your choice of delivery.

AFM - I am a bit tired today. We had a busy weekend and even though I slept well I still am tired today. Will just get back into it, sure that will help me feel less tired. My husband and I went to go see a movie on Friday, it is called Game Night, it was pretty funny, we dont get to do that much so we enjoyed the night out. Anyway I need to get to it, hope everyone has a good day :)

Morning Ladies!

I hope everyone had a good weekend?

Welcome Salemein, congrats on the progress of your pregnancy. Sorry to hear about all the misfortune and the loss. C-section still seems so daunting to me. I have decided to go for natural, as far as possible.

We went for our 16 week scan yesterday, and we finally got to find out gender. We are having a boy! He was just chilling and sucking on his thumb during the scan.

Have a good day ladies

Wow just spent the last 3 hours reading everything from the beginning and now feeling quite disappointed for joining the June 2018 thread (it's really quite there) I'm due July 2nd but c-section will be between 11 - 18 June. Hope you ladies don't mind me joining so late? I was also in the ttc 2018 thread and some of you may remember our still born son on November 2016. So I have been having a fairly easy pregnancy but with having a loss at 38 weeks it's difficult to just stay calm. But we had out anatomy scan on the 6th of March at 23+1 and baby girl is doing perfectly. Then on Wednesday I got the flu and full on convinced myself that I have listeriosis. But after some panado syrup, humidifier and a lot of sleep I'm feeling so much better just a runny nose now. Also got out quote for the c-section this week and although I'm still scared of having it done I know it's the beter route to take. Baby girl is atleast a very active little bogger. I got retrenched and today was my last day so I now get to be a stay at home incubator and I'm loving the position

Goodluck ladies and I look forward to reading more of your journeys. Just something I have noted, so far everyone that does know gender is having a girl? Pink power

Hello ladies,

Hope everyone is doing well :)

@Jay - congratulations on your little girl! I'm sorry that you felt some GD, please let yourself feel what needs to be felt, and just remember that you are not morning the child you are getting, you are morning the child you are not getting, and dont feel bad about your feelings or let anybody make you feel bad for your feelings, you are entitled to them

@Chanti - your bump will "put itself out there" when its ready, i remember with my first one i was able to get away with not telling many ppl till I was just over 20 weeks if i remember correctly. When you do start looking for maternity clothes, I would recommend looking online at Mr. Price, they have nicer things online than in the stores. Also check out Zando and Spree online, their cherry melon things are quite nice.

AFM - I am doing OK this week, I felt a bit backed into a corner with something at work but after speaking to my lady I speak to, I feel like i have a plan. Also i saw this movie trailor and i thought I would share. It looks really good and totally like something all mommies should see, I have told my husband we have to go see it together

hope everyone has a good rest of the day :)

Hey ladies,

@Jay - Congrats on the baby girl!!! It's okay to have to deal with a bit of disappointment :) Totally normal! So glad your tests came back normal, YAY!

@Carien - So sorry about your friend! How traumatising... Saying a prayer for her, such a tough time for them :( Even though this is our first I must admit we sometimes look at people and say to each other, please can we not raise our kids like that! We will probably have the same schooling separation thing as most kids in our town will end up being shipped off to expensive private schools for high school and ours will most likely be shipped off to a government boarding school as the private rates are hectic! Who knows maybe we won't even bat an eyelid at them then but for now its hectic.

@Reese - that is so cute! You are so brave to give her a kitten  She must be over the moon though! You certainly are busy but I must admit our calendar isn't much better! Have guests over at our house or will be away each weekend for the next month  I would love to go to Kruger now but we would die in the heat this time of the year. We are used to our lovely Berg weather and not the humidity. We were considering booking for Kruger in mid Sept but decided its cutting it quite close in terms of having a tiny baby especially if i carry to 42 weeks for example, so we will skip but I'm not sure when we will ever go again. I can imagine its difficult with kids unless they are a bit older and can enjoy it?? Update us on your next scan :)

AFM,the bump is still doing its own thing and only shows a bit in the afternoons, nothing definite yet, still that chubby look! But I'm almost certain i have started feeling baby :woohoo: since about last thursday/friday its happening much more often and I'm convinced its baby!
