@ Carien, so you have also been so sick, terrible hey! No I have not heard about the vac but will definitely look into that. You must be counting down the days till little lady arrives.

AFM, trying to finish everything by 34w so that I can relax and out my feet up. Been way to active. Also my amniotic water has increased slightly again but doc doesn't seem phased about it so I wont let it bother me.

I am due the 13 Sept but think baby will come between 38-39 weeks like her sister

Hello ladies hope everyone had a good weekend.

@Jay-bee - hate being sick while pregnant, this has definitely been my pregnancy where I have been the sickest. I have had conjunctivitis twice now, bronchitis once and a couple of colds, not to mention the weird and wonderful skin conditions I seem to have every couple of weeks. I do have to say that since I got the b-12 shot, things have gone better. My doc has also asked me to go get the whooping cough vax asap so that my baby can get some immunity against that, even if just a little. Dont know if you guys are going for that, apparently its a new thing...mostly b/c of anti-vaxxers and the fact that b/c of them serious viruses that have been dormant/dead for years are coming back now. Anyway, I have some strong opinions on that, but will keep those to myself.

My maternity shoot this weekend was interesting...really completely outside of my comfort zone, but at no point did I feel uncomfortable with the photographer, so at least there is that. She said she would need about 2 weeks for editing so hoping we get some good pictures. I am not good at seeing myself in a positive light, especially with things that come to my body...but I am willing to keep an open mind with this...

Anyway, not much else from me, this week I am starting to work from home more often to just make sure this little girl stays put for 3 weeks. Today in 3 weeks we will have a newborn. In all honesty, she just needs to stay in till the Friday before, but after the training, my doc thinks I will go into labor that weekend, but lets see, maybe everything will be fine and she will come the Monday as planned.

Hoping everyone else is doing well :)

@ Chanti: How are you and has baby arrived yet? How did the maternity shoot go? What cloth are you using? I bought hemp/bamboo/flannel flats with PUL and fleece covers. A few AIO's and pockets for hubby and getting excited to use them. I had to go for the glucose test as my amniotic water is on the higher side of average but the tests all came back normal and everything is fine. They will hill keep an eye on the level and hopefully it does not increase.

@ Carien: I am so glad that the training course worked out for you as I can only imagine just how stressful it was. SO you have about 2.5 weeks before baby arrives? Your maternity shoot sounds awesome and it's going to be so much fun. Enjoy every minute of it.

@ Reece; how are you?

AFM, have had a terrible flu for almost 3 weeks now and dies a slow and painful death as could just not shake it. It is slowly getting better but I am so drained. I am currently 31w and things are going smoothly. My appetite is not so big and gaining 500g a week but in total I have only gained 6/7kg, which baby will probably be the same size as my first born which was 2.8kg.
I have been way to active and all over the place and family and hubby said I better calm down or baby will come sooner. So I want everything done by 34w then I can relax.

So who has had their babies already and who is still due?
1. Salemein - 14 June
2. Reece
3. Chanti
4. Carien
5. JayBee - 13 Sept

Hello ladies, how is everyone doing? Any more babies arrive?

So I have some news. My scheduled delivery date was 30/07. At the end of June I was told training that I have been waiting for forever and a day will be scheduled to start on the 30th, but long story short, it was moved out to Nov so I thought OK great. Only to be old again last week that the prerequisite training is going to be scheduled to start on the 31st for 4 days. So that was a rock and a hard place situation. Anyway, i was panicking about it b/c I really REALLY need to be in that training, it is vitally important for my career, and its not even like I can attend a different session. The guy conducting the training is being flown in from the States to do it, and if they do the training again it will be at least a year or so before they do. So you can understand how important this is to me. Anyway, saw the doc today and I thought she was totally going to shoot me down for moving out my date, but she has given us the thumbs up. Said she understands the importance, and yes it would be a push b/c I would then be scheduled on 39w5d but she understands. She said I should conduct myself quietly as far as possible and that I might go into labour the weekend before, but if I do, we will deal with it then. I think the fact that she has 3 daughters trying to make it in the corporate world helps and that she sees from a career perspective its really important.

I am so relieved, I cant even tell you guys. We did another check, and yes my baby is big, but that is nothing new, she has been big always, her legs are long and her abdominal circumference is high, but again, this is not something new, so, fortunately, I have gotten the go-ahead to attend the training. PHEW!!!

Other than that, I had a lovely baby shower on Saturday, got so many beautiful things for our little girl. Think my mindset is changing as well to being more girl oriented. My husband has talked me into a maternity shoot this weekend, so totally not my thing, but he feels that this is our last baby and we should celebrate that. To make things a bit more interesting, I am doing a boudoir maternity shoot - completely outside my comfort zone, but I thought if I am going to do this, then might as well go all the way.

Anyway, how is everyone else?

Morning ladies, how is everyone today?

Wanted to check in and say hello, see whats happening with everyone. Any more babies arrive? I have 4 weeks to go. I find myself wishing the time to go by. I am really having a tough time at the moment. I am so tired all the time, heartburn is a part of my life now and I just seem to get sick so easily. (please dont get me wrong, I know having a baby is a huge blessing, I am just a bit over being pregnant and scared shitless of having 3 kids!) Had a tough weekend, but at least we got a whole lot of stuff done. We ordered some blinds for the nursery and ordered the nursery bedding as well. I have a big oak tree painted in the corner of the room which I absolutely love, but the nursery is kind of 'boy' focused since my two boys did sleep there, so it needs to change a bit. I love the tree so we are trying to make a plan to paint around the tree, (the room is blue on top and green at the bottom) and leave some blue to kind of look like a haze or a cloud or something like that. My sister in law who is very artistic is coming to paint around the tree for us this weekend. We are hoping to have the nursery mostly done by the weekend besides for the blinds which will take a couple of weeks to make and the bedding which will only be ready right before the baby is born. I have my baby shower coming up this weekend, two of my friends have graciously offered to host after my mother backed out with very little time left to plan it, so hopefully we will have what we need from a clothes perspective after that.

Other than that, had a scan on Thursday last week, all looks good. My babies are generally on the larger side of things, while her head was measuring pretty much right on time, her abdomen was a bit bigger at about 36 weeks, but legs are at 37 weeks. My doc with my first two sent me for glucose tests b/c she thought I could have gestational diabetes b/c my babies are so big, but think this time she has realised that my babies are just big - plus my husband is 6'7" so dont think there is much chance of them being small. I also dont put too much stock in the weights given by scans, both my boys were quite a bit smaller than what the last scan said they would be at birth. Right now it said our little girl is 2.9kg (at 34w2d) so will see what she says when we see her again - have to see her one more time before we deliver.

Anyway, how is everyone else? @Chanti - we have not heard from you in a while hun, how are you?
@Reese - your girls make their appearance yet?
@Jay-bee - how did your glucose test go?
