Hi mommies. Hope, my mom told me that she started us on solids by 3.5 months but i think its a bit too soon. I have been giving Liam things to taste but i will only start with cereals after 4 months. You should start her off with rice cereal. I think it's 1 tsp cereal to 3tsps milk and gradually make it less runny. If she is picking up the correct amount of weight then the crying can't be because she's always hungry. Maybe you should take her for a check up to make sure it's not something else.
Babyshoes, you're lucky to have people you trust to take care of your lo. That's why i don't want to work right now because i don't want to leave Liam with just anyone. Right now he can't be without me for even 5 minutes. He screams even if he is with his daddy until i take him. I'm getting a good workout carrying him around all the time. He loves to be naked and is the most pleasant baby at bathtime. He also loves being outdoors and watching our dog run around. I feel like he's growing up so quickly.

Ivy just turned 3 months today and i am so happy, HD even bought her cake to celebrate.

i was wondering if you can help,
when is the right time to start solid coz have been crying consistently for the past month and my mom thinks baby is hungry,and refused to listen to her so i was wondering if you ladies can help me?

what should i start her with and how much would you recommend.

Just to keep you ALL updated - I started work onb Tuesday and it was hard for me to be around my little boy 24/7! But he is in good hands with my mom and Ouma!

Luke is throwing tantrums - can you believe it? The minute you take the bottle away from him to burp him he starts screaming and kicking!

Yesterday i went to gym for the 1st time to shedd off my baby fat and left LO at club V, boy did he cry they even called me while i was exercising, and he doesnt take a bottle i have been really trying,it took time to calm him down, when we got home, he just wanted to be hugged probably he thought i would leave jim again shame... I reall dont know whats going to happen to him when im back at work.

I had such rough night, no fault of Graeme's. He woke up at 1 fed and went back to sleep. I could not sleep till 4 and then he woke up. I feel horrible, so going to try to get some more sleep.

Vash sorry about the flu. I sure if he did sleep through he will go back to it soon. Graeme went from sleeping till 2 then for a week went back till 12 now he is normally any where between 2 and 4.

Babyshoes I spoke to early the cold is back.

Bronz well done on getting Graeme to take the bottle. I'm still battling with that. I make DH hold Liam when he's having his shots so i don't have to see it but i also want to cry when i hear him cry.
Well i had a bad weekend. I spoke too soon about Liam sleeping through. He's back to waking up every 2 hours. I also had the flu since saturday and i still have it. We took Liam for his shots yesterday and he now weighs 5.68kg at 10 weeks. He got a slight fever but the panado helped to bring his temp down. Then last night he started coughing and had a blocked nose so we were at the doc today. Shame i feel so sorry for him. Hoping he'll feel better by tomorrow.
