So ja, half these functions we dnt really have to attend, not necessary, just accomodation DH half the time. He still wants to live as if its just the two of us & we have no responsibilities.
Nanny likes feeding Ruru everything under the sun, caught her trying to give him a grape last Sat. For all I know his diarrhea was triggered by something she gave him, it started on a SAt when she was with him.
Iv pointed this out to DH & he's like, we'll just have to keep a closer eye on her. More like I'll have to do that.
The funny thing is Ruru prefers DH to me, always wants DH to hold him, play with him, cries for him. Even when I put him in our bed Ruru rolls over to Dh & snuggles close to him the whole night. DH on the other hand, tires very quickly with Ruru, u shld see the look of relief on his face when Nanny or I take him from him. He dsnt even hide it, nanny also has noticed it so when she's around she keeps Ruru away from him.
But Iv been forcing him to chill with ruru, whenever I c he wants to hand him over to me I quickly leav the room, now he know when he comes back home from work, he takes care of Ruru till bedtime, I dnt compromise on that.
he knows on Sundays Im gonna disappear, only take him when its time to nap. The nice thing is ruru prefers his dad so he's always cring for him anyway

Sorry ladies for the long post, just had to get that off my chest. Iv been upset since I saw him lying next to a crying baby thinking its gonna calm him down, really!!! The annoying thing is he actually is getting upset that Im upset.....

Dh really worries/annoys me....
He wanted a child, he knew Iv never been interested in being a mom (loving it now) We debated bout it for a while b4 I fell preggies. I told him it wasnt gonna b easy, told him what to expect, told him social life would b over but he thought I was trying to scare him out of it at the time. Iv had to babysit my younger siblings (im the 2nd out of 6), my older sis has a boy (now 6), & number 3 has a girl, (21 months) & I KNOW what goes into raising a child. Iv also had to babysit them.
Now baby comes along & DH is not coping. He gets frustrated easily, he complains a lot, night time I take care of baby, he wont budge no matter how tired I am. If i complain he puts a half hearted attempt. He's always tired & he gets impatient with Ruru.
Like tonight Ruru is crying (prob from pain, got immunised today) Dh goes to his cot, I carry on watching TV but I can hear Ruru is still crying on the monitor. I go to the room & Im like "what r u doing to him?" He replies "Im lying next to him & he still wont stop crying!!" Im like dont u know by now u pick him up if he cries!!
Was so updet, he picks baby up & baby calms down. Thats what I mean bout half hearted attempt, knowing Im gonna come around & calm Ruru down anyway....

What gets on my nerves is I warned him its not gonna b easy & now he dsnt want to have other kid, I on the other hand am xtremely broody, I cried when my period came today!! (we not trying, I knew it would come)
Now, to accomodate DH's complaints, the nanny has to come full day on Sat. If he had his way she would b full time coz Im always too tired for him. We not GONNA HAVE SEX EVERYDAY NOW OR EVEN REGULARLY, IM TIRED!!!! We cant go out as much. I know he needs attention, so do I, but theres a baby now, adapt!!
Now he's been trying to convince me to get a full time nanny, he says I shldnt complain if I dnt want one. What I hate is Ruru & I have a lil routine going on, the nanny never sticks to it Saturdays & never puts him down for naps, never gives him his milk & I have to follow up on her the whole day!!! Because he never really naps, I struggle to get him to sleep & he starts waking at night fussing. i really prefer taking care of him myself.
When we go home he plans on leaving him with MIL on weekends & Im not having it. Not coz I dnt trust her, but because I feel nobody knows him more that I, nobody loves him more than I, nobody know what he needs more than I.

So I feel u KKRose when u say ud stress if he slept over @ MIL's place. DH wants us to go on with life as if there is no baby & I cant do it. Even with our trip to malaysia nxt week, he figures the nanny service at the hotel is safe, I dnt think so....
The last thing I need is my baby kidnapped in a foreign country. I would rather drag him everywhere we go, ppl can abuse kids out there, what if she dsnt bother to feed him all day? Hayi, Im not feeling it
Trust me we talk bout this everyday, the only way I get to shut him up/get my way is to remind him "Ruru is MY baby, not with MY baby" he knows Im not messing around when I say that, we dragging that child everywhere. Iv got a baby sling, he can sleep in that. Shame, the nice thing bout Ruru is he can sleep anywhere.
The dentist cancelled my app, was soooo happy

I also would like to go out sometime, the problem is finding suitably trustworthy sitters ( in my non-trusting brain) .

Seriously, this would involve lots of travelling in the night, taking baby to MIL's house, fetching him in the dead of the night, or letting him sleep over. My MIL would be so happy, I on the other hand would be miserable with worry and would definitely fail to enjoy my night out.
I am not ready to do that yet.
