KKKrose: glad themba is doing well as for the weight gain your pead is amasing for not fussing and to put you at ease. Buhle on the other had is gaining weight hoping this month she slows down.

Shakira: I figured you would be a starnger because of the fast.

AFM: Buhle has one toothie and is now sitting nicely for longer periods. As for the sleeping mommy not sleeping as the lil madam wants to be on the boob.

Hello ladies,

I am sorry for being so quiet. It's the fast now and I am kept so busy. Just thought I'd check in on everyone but seems I've missed too much so just going to take it from here.

Update on Muneeb:
Muneeb sits for awhile before falling to the side. He loves sucking his toys and gets so excited when he sees toys with faces.

He eats porridge in the morning. He is eating just about everything in the purity range up until the 7 months ones. Like tomato and chicken casserole, baby peas and marrows, butternut pasta bake, etc for lunch and supper with water. I am also still breastfeeding in between and at night.

Hope everyone and babas are ok.

I took LB to the Paed on Thursday, he was weighed and had gained 500 grams. He now weighs 7.8 kg. The Paed was not particularly concerned about him not gaining weight in the past 2 months, he said he is still along his 50 percentile on growth chart.
He said I should keep him on the NAN HA, although he did not advise how I should make him drink more .
Gave him medication for the wet cough he has had in the last 3 weeks, and Vidaylin with Iron, its a multivitamin.

Well, the dreaded AF visited yesterday, I was not surprised as I am no longer breastfeeding in the last 3 weeks, I just wish it waited a bit more.

I must say - our Feb thread is one of the queitest!

Rhodine, it has to be egg white... And I do not think purity will be good enough, just my personal opinion.

Good morning fellow mommies,

Shaunie as earache been up for two nights straight where he has slept for 15 minutes at a time, and I am feeling so guilty about his pain as I feel that its partly my fault...... when washing his hair these days, i rush the whole process as by the time he baths at night he is so hungry and screams during his baths, so I do not take the care that I need to when it comes to rinsing his hair - so the water in the ears must have contributed to the pain he is having, that or the fact that I took him out to the zoo on Saterday..... I will from now on be a better mommy..........................Got cool eardrops that has a "numbing" effect on the pain in the mean time untill he sees his doc tonight.

Do any of you know : Egg yellow? Shaunie has to go for his next injections next month - measels I think, and the nurse mentioned to me that he must have eaten egg yellow by this time before he can have this injection? There is a purity "custard something" that has eggs on? would this be enough ? or do i have to actually make egg yellow and puree it and have him eat it like that?
