Happy Spring day my friends.

Yoza, Jaiqi does get sleepy at th ebreast while feeding, but she falls asleep on her own, once she has her dumyy in her mouth. Unfortunately,s he won't sleep without it. And she only sleeps in her bed. She won't sleep anywhere else. My older kids were the same as babies. They only slept in their beds. Imagine visiting the in laws and you have a very upset child who refuses to sleep because they want their own bed lol.

Oh I have been teaching Jaqi "Handjies klap, koekies bak" for a few days, singing it to her while holding her hands and clapping them together. So last night, she took dh's hands and began clapping them together while cooing in a sing-song voice/rythm. I could not believ my eyes and ears. I told dh to sing the song to her and when he sings, she claps, when he stops, she stops. It was soooo cute!

KKKrose: Trust me having a chubby and big baby is hectic. Buhle is so big. Im stressing about her next weigh in at the clinic. I cannot wait to hear what the pead says.

Zodwa: Why the travelling are you guys changing countries. Much respect to you for the towel nappies. I could never. too lazy to wash and to always mantin that radiance.

Nixie: Hi hun i see that we both have chubby babies. Come to think of it buhle might be gaining a lot because of the formula i use. I also use S26 but not gold. were still on the number were switching only after she finishes the batch i bought her.

EP: Does jaqi fall asleep on her owm. you have a nice sleeping routine. I must start training my LO

Gotta go oh nixie buhle does not say mama but as of yesterday she says heda and dadada. quite cute I must say.

LOL zodwa at the broodines I also miss my tiny small baby. But watching them grow is just precious. No babies for me the two i have are quite a handful.

Themba also sits for longer periods as each day passes. He has no teeth yet, although I can see them underneath the gums.

Zodwa - I can imagine how much I would hate that dentist too, I must say I am very much of a sissy when it comes to pain of any kind. Now coupled with that chauvinistic attitude!
I use Avent too, and have changed teat to No 3. Last Thursday I bought him a new bottle that can also be a sippy cup, haven't tried the sippy though.

EP - Jacqi is trully a dream baby, my LO sleeps between 9.30 and 10.00, and wakes up at around 7 am. I wish he slept earlier, I don't know how to make that happen.

Funny, that some moms are battling to up their babies weight, others are battling to keep it in check. But I prefer a chubby baby anyday.

Yoza The paed seems to think its teething. He didnt have a fever, no blood in stool, no vomitting so they dnt think its a virus. Iv never had a child before but it seems a bit severe for teething. It lasted 10 days!!!!
Im slowly re-introducing solids to him again, iv only re-introduced carrots for now, I'll do potatoes on Thurs. Im also not doing BLW exclusively now bcos we'll b travelling a lot from next week till the beginning of nxt year so I wont b able to cook for him all the time & he needs to eat with a spoon. So while he was sick, I made applesauce for him & the carrots he's been eating are also pureed by me (it really feels good making ur own baby food, I feel like Iv accomplished something), but the carrots tasted disgusting, not sweet so I mix them with the applesauce as it is sweet. We going to Malaysia nxt Thurs so He'll prob have purity & cereals for 4 days
KKRose Ruru was also only drinking 120ml, till I changed his bottle nipple size to number 4 (here they are diff from SA, they go according to baby's age. Im using Avent) Now he drinks 150ml. But u shldnt worry, as long as he's gaining weight its fine.

My mom also FINALLY posted my cloth nappies so I'll b using them from tomorrow. In not using them for noble reasons like the environment, Iv just always liked them..... While travelling I'll use disposables though & when Im out & about. I only have 12 cloth nappies so I'll prob end up using disposable & cloth.

Ruru crawls on his tummy now. He uses his forearms & one leg to push himself forward. This is turning out to b dangerous as he crawls in his sleep!! He bumps against the side of his cot constantly
He was sleeping in my bed btwn DH & I on Sat as he was fussing too much. In the middle of the night I wake to go to the bathroom next thin I know I hear a thud& he was creaming. Dh picks him up from the floor. Shame I felt so bad as Id left him sleeping.
Im supposd to have my wisdoms removed on Fri, but Ruru is going for his 6 month injections on Fri. So now Im making him my xcuse to avoid the dentist again!! Told DH Ruru & I cant b in pain @ the same time.... I need to face my fears... really HATE the dentist. This one really irritates me. He dsnt talk to me, tells DH everything thats happening in my mouth, asks DH for permission to do things in my mouth, makes DH look in my mouth to see what he's talking about!!!!
I know its the culture here to ignore women & adress men instead but its really getting annoying. Dh sits in the room with Ruru & EVERYBODY gets a peak at my mouth. When I 1st went to him & he told me I need braces, he asked if my husband agreed with it, otherwise he wont put them in!!!

Ruru is making me broody. I feel he is too big & I miss having a small baby. Also wish I was breastfeeding still, would make travelling easier, now I have to worry bout how Im gonna sterilize bottles.

Jaqi has no teeth yet. Seems like I have been checking her mouth everyday, since she has all the signs, like drooling, chewing everything, swollen gums.. I can even see the teeth underneath the gums, but nothing is poking out yet. Her teething necklace works wonders though, she is a calm baby by nature, but I can see that it helps her sleep really well. I give her dinner when we eat as well, and then we bath, read a story and get in bed. Jaqi then feeds and she is in bed by 8h30 sometime later but never later than 9h00. Then I have to WAKE her the next morning at 8h00 or there about caus emy boobs are full and sore. She really is a dream child. She does not like sitting much, but loves being on hertummy and rolling from her back to her tummy.

How is things??? Pedrie is sitting now for about 10-15 minutes without faling so i supose this milestone i can scratch off the list... I cried like a baby the first time he got it right , so proud of him....

we got so busy with stuff so i will only be cooking him meals again comming saturday.... other than that i just gave purity and cereal eggs and jogurt and mash and peas..... my baby was a very hungry baby for the first 4 months of his life thats why he was on lactogen but now i find it only makes him fat (9.6kg) , not just the fat he is freakin tall he's legs have out grown the 6-12 months clothes (hubby and myself have very long legs) I have changed him over to s26 promil... any feedback???

Has any of your baby's also started saying mamma?? Pedrie goes mammamamma like he is singing... to cute..... he has only 2 front theet... waiting for the rest to come
