NO SURE IS I WANT TO POST THIS. a lot of people hate me for it...

My mother is a dietician... stoped about 5 years ago, so while i was growing up she tought us healthy tips for our boddies ( i am exact weight as before baby). O k so lets be honest nobody wants to diet... everybody knows there is no diet that works for ever, excercise must be done but where to get the time???

So the advice my mother gave us was every wrong (choclate cookie) you put in to your body you need to put in 2 good things, water excercise .

so only advice i can give is to try and avoid sweets and gas cooldrink. Rather try oros or fruit juice. Limit to one cup of coffee a day.
did you know one block of sugar will slow your metabolism with 3 days??? did you know one meat pie has over 12 000 kilojules enough to feed your body for 3-4 days...did you know when eating healthy you must eat carbs??? please never exclude this from your diet as it fuels the body to work and burn fats.... please cut off on sauces (very fatning)

Please do eat more salad containing lettuce (brakes of fat) raw onion (brakes off fat) o and pine apple (brakes of fat) drink water but not more than 2 liters as it can be bad for you. basically sugar is the devil and you dont have to stop eating sweet stuff all togehther just cut down.... did yu know walking fast (brisk walk) burns more fat than running ... so if you take baby if the pram just walk a bit faster (summer is comming)

and please remember the body first looses water and then start burning fat so we only need to stick it through for a few weeks then the results will be there

I had morning sickness for the first 4 months, I lost weight during that time. Then I made up for it afterwards. I was 80kgs on the day I gave birth, was at 72kgs a month after giving birth, and then gained again.

I intend to ask gynae for a tummy tuck if and when I have another LO. :)

Seems to me that 10kg's is the "Magic number" around here...

I have to confess that my extra weight isn't due to the pregnancy. I actually weigh 5kg's less now than I did before I got pregnant.

@Bluebird... the tummy tuck is an excellent idea! lol

Yes, no cereal for now. Most of my (and my mom's) digestive problems is because of grains/wheat/gluten. Will start to give her rice probably at about 7months and then bread and pasta at 8months.

Thx Shariefa.

I think what they must do, is to ask you whether you want a tummy tuck whilst having the c-section. lol. dont know what the natural birth mothers options will be. :woohoo:

KKRose, also think it is a big milestone. Men just dont emotionally connect. LOL

Shariefa thats a great idea of your daughter, maybe you must do it. Then she will feel special cos it was her idea.

Lientje to be clear on the food thing. Are you only going to give LG fruit and veg. No pappies?
