Shame karatemum, 4 ashtma attacks that is hectic, I hope you are feeling much better and taking care of yourself. Good on you for finding a Babysitter I need one too please share your contacts I'm in the Northern Suburbs of CT though. We use my inlaws as Babysitters but then we have a curfue(LOL)...

Fawhaway are you originally from CT? Your boy must be loving having children around, my LB gets all excited for children but he's a little fighter so I have to watch him

Lauren, what do you use for Jensen's gums?? I am using Prodol but honestly I forget to put it on most of the time,sounds like Jensen will soon be walking, enjoy these moments actually my cupboards are untidy Noah unpacks it all the time since walking.

What are you feeding your LO's, Noah loves bread but is really fussy he eats little bits at a time and shakes his head for No when he has had enough. He was so cute yesterday I finished changing his nappy and gave the dirty one to him saying Go throw it in the bin and WaLa he walked to the kitchen andthrew it in the bin, then later when I changed him again did the same thing and he done it, he understands so well I am so impressed.

Welcome Kimika, glad you can join us. KarateMum, please get better soon. Congrats with the new teeth for Jensen Lauren, Let hope he doesn't shovel too many Banana's down his throat again. Reece is the same with bread, I have to cut it in tiny squares and give them one at at a time because if I give him a plate within seconds he has all the tiny squares in his mouth and is choking on them. He has 12 teeth and can chew very well but doesn't understand that he can't have so much in his mouth at one time. I once had to give Zoe the Heimlich when she chocked on a small round of borewors (It was the skin that got stuck) and so I am quite paranoid about choking. Reece started to walk at 11.5 months and is running around now, he catches a speed wobble sometimes but is pretty fast.

My little guy isnt walking yet either, cruising along the furniture seems to be enough for him at the moment, except that every now and then I catch him getting brave and walking between the couches without holding - only 2 or 3 steps at a time though.

KarateMum - sorry to hear about you being ill, but glad you are back on your feet!

Jensen has just cut his 2 canines, so now he has 10 teeth in total and biting onto everything he can get into his mouth. We discovered that he developed a taste for bananas and tries to shove the whole thing down his throat - scary... but funny.

My little guy was born 27 March so he is now 14 1/2 months. Still not walking! He cruises and almost runs along the furniture and can stand on his own but just hasnt realised that he could prob be walking But he was late crawling as well..

But on the other side he is more vocal He babbles and chitters the whole day long, making it really easy to find him in the house He can say a lot of words and immitates lots of words we say.

We are ttc again but taking it relaxed.

My son is in heaven at the moment 3 of his cousins are here and they all get on so well and play together. 2 of them are 4 years old and one is 6 years old. its freezing here in pmb and i have the heater on. im waiting to hear from a friend to see if we are going to go to cape town for the new year. i hope it works out so that i can actually celebrate new year for once. the last two years i have been with my in laws and they dont celebrate. 28 days til i visit there in any case. karatemum i hope you find a job soonest. i have been at home now for two years.

Lauren - The football was brilliant thanks, yup all worked out with the babysitter thank goodness! So now we have a contact for the future too, she was amazing with him and not too expensive so it was good all round!

I've been sick which wasn't cool as I got rushed to the ER the day before the football, not so fun but I wasn't missing the football! I had 4 asthma attacks in a row and couldn't breathe.

Tadhg has 5 teeth a little slow but not shy to use them so kind of glad there is only a few! but chatting away with mumbo jumbo chat as well as his few words, mum, daddy, nana, baa (bath), up, ook (look), and not forgetting 'eish' said with hands on face! And then shakes his head for no, but he understands everything and like me chooses to turn off when he doesn't like what he hears lol!! He is a cheeky little sausage. He is so active, but then been like that from day one, he loves running around and is not liking the winter as he can't play outside.

We were ttc again, but it ended in a mc last month, so we are now putting off the ttc till next year or so, we'll see how the year pans out.

Aaargh, biggest thing now though is I need a job!

Yes, it's ice Cold and there is snow on the Heldeberg Mountains right where I live in Somerset West. Zoë is very sweet with her brother, no jealousy at all. She loves him to pieces. All that has changed has been her sleeping patterns since his birth but for the rest she is very accomodating towards him and loves to play with him. He loves her to bits also and follows her all over the place. Yes, we are TTC again but taking it easy this time.
