I haven't finished the baby's room - and it's unbearably hot. need to wipe down the shelves and prepare the cot and pack the clothes etc away. But can't stress about it what will be will be.
Have to be at hospital tomorrow at 11h00, theatre at 13h30.

Shame all the babies with colic, at least Vanya notthat back but does get a sore tummy every now and then but some buscopan and a good walking she hundreds and sleeping.

MommyN when Arwen was small she also grunted and moaned and did this pushing thing and shame it kept her up and us, we took her so a therapist and she found a air pocket that was going no where, we were told to lie her on her back and pump her legs like you ride a bike when we got a chance and that worked for us, life was so lekka after that.

Meags it really not nice in a new place. when we got here i was crying for 2 months coz i wanted to go back home, but at least for me home is 2hours away not in your case, like you say some time.

Sterr, we listen to all advice then we choose to listen to what we want to, do what makes you both happy. The sleeping on tummy might work for Inge but maybe not for Vanya, Some times it might be worth a try.

I will try the nipple shields - I have some so no harm in trying! I must say, he latches better when my boobs arent as full! So I do let a bit run out.

Going to try all the things and see if it helps!

Thanks Rakker! At the moment he lies on a pillow and I try put my leg (the one under his head) up higher than the other one... Yvette likened it to gymnastics... LOL

He is "napping" now, but such a light sleeper and he groans and moans so in his sleep... poor thing!

There is a term for reflux caused by this. There is also a way to position him to prevent this fast flow of milk. Will quickly go and check and let you know.
