AFM- i'm enjoying my little princess Yes!! i BF her every 3½hours, sometimes struggles to get her awake and then it gets to 4hours or more - but i try not to go pass 4hours - not good for baba.
She sleeps from the one feeding till the other -it's the "geelsig" causing her to sleep so deep. Not even a wet wipe always helps to get her awake.
LO is enjoying his sister as well, just want to touch, kiss and hug her all the time.

I'll try to post some picks here on moomie as well.

MommyN congrats on Nathan's nice weight, I have a bouncer I bounce him with my foot it's a fisher price they are quit pricy I actually found one on the moomie blog the lady is bringing it around for me to see today I paid like R450 for my bouncer 3 years ago brand new a second hand one exactly the same as mine is going for R600-00 and a brand new one for R 1600-00 but I found with my lg and lb it works like a charm and I have no screaming baby in the house unless he gets hungry

serious reflux that actually needs to be attended to by a paed is classed as 4 or more projectile vomits of whole feed. C used to PJV a couple of times a day especially when on the breast and the Paed said there isn't really much they can do, it's basically because they drink too fast or the feed sits on top of a wind, and to be honest it was always when C drank from my super dooper free flowing breast. If he appears to be in a lot of discomfort it can be acid reflux which you can first try giving 1ml of gaviscon after burping before laying down. I d that for Alex because sometimes his puke is so acidic i can smell it before i walk in the room.

Nathan is "projectile vomitting" at least once a day now. Normally in the mornings when my milk is flowing strongly and I am just hoping he is over-feeding.

ok, first the good news...

Nathan weighs 3,6kg at almost 10 weeks. He is really filling out and eating so well!!! I am defnitely the mobile cafe!

as for the sleeping... oh boy! I think he has a bit of colic, so I have bypassed all the little things and put him straight onto the Bennett Colic medicaine. Missy's paed said its the only one worth it when she had a touch of colic as a baby. Its not too bad, but I am so tired. Maryke, what does your bouncer look like? Is it electric? My firend promised me hers but it never materialised She swore by it and said it saved her sanity!

Ladies you know what I actually think a bouncer helps for colicky babies Aiden that screams the whole day I just bounce him in his chair no scream no mizzyness happy content baby and my hands are free to blog Chris Vix I would really advice a bouncer

I am actually looking for a second hand one for Llewellyn he loves it too but I only have one and the rockers I have they hate it

Chris re the prop up feeding what I do with the twins I put them on there sides with the "spoegdoek underneath there ears under the bottle so hence no milk flowing in the ears and this also works wonders

I just got Vanya down for a sleep she went to bed at 11pm last night and only woke up at 6am this morning had another sleep from 7:30 to 9:30 and now again, must be in the milk, hehe

Vix want to ask you say you use veet to keep the hair away how do you get it so it doesnt burn the sensitive lady parts??
