Active labour but cervix has not thinned or dilated at all. Still thick and high. Baby bounces in and out of pelvis. major contractions measuring over 100 on the monitors and they don't feel bad to me. Having c-section just now.

Will update again as soon as I hear from Yvette but I am sure by now the little one will be here.

Thanks Vix, I spoke to the paed today, he doesn't seem to be one for the Elegynol (sp?) he just said to me it was more of a tranquilizer. I managed to express 100ml tonight which I was shocked at, lol, but it has been averaging 75/80ml since last night. I express 3hourly through the day and night. I funny enough haven't had engorged breasts, I do use the gel pads/hot face cloths to stimulate as well as been having the jungle juice..... and Stoney, all the African ladies at the hospital said to take it with the jungle juice I never liked that stuff, I remember it tastign alot worse, lol. i took almost 700mls of ebm to the hospital today for them, so if I can manage 100ml each time then it would be great (for now). Paed is so against formula and said as soon as I can get Alexia on the breast I must, but I want to still express so Athena and Alessandro get ebm so they can come home soon too. He asked if I wanted to take them home altogether, which I prefer, I saw how you battled Vix, I really prefer them coming home together, he said he will see when he gets there as long as they are similar weights, he doesn't mind sedning one home if they are 1.9 as long as we feel comfortable with all 3 at once, it will probably hit us like a ton of bricks, but I prefer it. It took Alexia about an hour to feed 25ml, she really is independent, she doesn't like to be fussed over and you mustn't disturb her while she sleeps, lol.

Alexia is off the tubes and been bottle fed 3hourly now, the other 2 still on 17ml/hr, but doing so well. Dr says they will be in 10-14days (still, lol), Im counting the days cos then I have my babies home, but not counting them cos I know they getting cared for.

Yvette, when are you seeing dr again, or are you just waiting til the date?

Yvette no pain at all funny enough but some times Vanya feels heavy on the cervix, I should be able to go till Sat due to cervix is still high even dialated used his fingers always does. Shame this castor oil sounds like killer stuff.
Maybe you should just wait now and see what happens on its own.

Vix did you get the little superman to drink breast again today?

Girls, damn. Castor oil is not friendly. I took it yesterday at 1pm. 3pm major gastro cramps started. Just after then, my tummy worked. It carried on working until 9pm last night. My butt was raw. Felt like I had given birth through the wrong end. Shoot. The internet said the starting dose is 60ml. I took 50ml. I honestly truly thought that nothing was gonna happen. I took it with Ashley (also 50ml) and got nothing more than a rumbly tummy.
Then the contractions kicked in around 5pm. They were hardcore sore around 30sec long. They carried on until about 8am this morning. Got up twice last night because they woke me and hurt so bad. Got worried actually because I couldn’t get baba to move. So I used my Doppler thing and the heartbeat was still going strong. I went to the local government hospital at 9am this morning to get a stress test and to check whether those contractions were the real thing. They had faded out but were still coming intensely painfully. The baby’s heartrate was fine at 150bpm and the contraction monitor was not working. Grrr.
Lesson learned. Don’t play with that stuff. Its not pleasant. I’ll have a sore bum for atleast another day or two. In fact, I didn’t even ask for an internal check because that whole area was just too sore. So ya, hahahhaha to me. dork.
My BH are now literally taking my breath away and I have to stop what I am doing to wait for it to pass. This has been all day. In between cramps, I feel nothing at all. Just had one for 45sec.
Binks, are you not having any major eina BH cramps or hectic tingling down there? 2-3 cm dilated is awesome. I would be over the moon. Craig gone to work again tonight so I am ironing – something I have not done in 2 years, this nesting thing is annoying. Do you think that you may progress sooner? Did the dr use the ultrasound probe to measure your dilation or did he use his fingers? No show for you then!
Mina – anything your side?? Brave girl you. If I remember correctly, you don’t want an epidural hey? Did you go for Lamaze breathing classes? How did you handle the breathing thing?
Meags – how are you in far off Switzerland??? Nice.
Vix – cannot believe your tots are 4 weeks old already. Its beyond me how time can fly by so fast. Christopher looked like he enjoyed his Christmas presents. Gosh, but he is cute kid.
Chris – your birth story was wonderful to read, thank you. The pics are lovely. They do not look like 33w old babies. Well done sweetness xxx and they all look so different too. You looked beautiful just before you went in. rickie looked really chuffed!
Chan – how is kade? You sounding very happy which is wonderful to hear. Post some pics on our thread please.

So its Official im having one of the new years babies.
Dr says im already between 2-3 cm and has booked me in for saterday need to be there 6am hope Vanya lasts that long and water doesnt break.

Yvette i was a pissy the 1st time had peth, atarax and a epidural and if i have my way the same again, i even have the same sister that helped with Arwens birth on Sat.

I think it might be better not knowing but what can i do.

ha! binks! i'm so excited to hear whats going on your side! do you have epidurals or not?

i'll post my lovely entertaining story on my experience with castor oil later.

What you mean exciting im so nervous right now to think i have to push out another baby scars me to death and ya i remember they say second one easier i just dont know till i get there.
