Chan- I'm pleased he's at least giving Kade the chance to engage or at least get his head down into your pelvis. And i still believe it's worthwhile for every preggy fairy to arm themselves with the knowledge of how a C-sec works just in case, my SIL refused to read up on C-sec but ended up having an emergency one and it threw her for a loop.

Oooo i have no idea why he would do an amnio to check baby's lungs at 37w, have never heard that one before.........

oh and i wish you could come on saturday too! but hopefully you'll be headed this way in the new year and we can finally meet!

Chris- i think t's amazing how you keep on going going going and only when you actually stop do you realise how hard it was to keep on like that! the body is an amazing thing though! Can't wait to see your baby bump on saturday! xxxxxxxx

wow you guys do have a lot of storage space! i must say though because i have the queen bed in the tweenies bedroom there is no space for compactums or changing tables so i really had no where to keep the nappies and toiletries.

Morning!

Well I feel a bit better this morning about everything. I never slept at all last night - thinking about having a c-sec etc but have sorted everything out in my mind for now.

Ok so my doc is really pro natural birth. He knows how scared I am at the thought of every having a c-sec so he basically just wants me to read up and have some knowledge about it should I have to end up going that route.

He said that if Kade engages and his head fits into my pelvis natural birth is definately possible - no matter what weight the scans are predicting. So it's basically a waiting game now for the next 4 weeks and we'll discuss options at my 36 week check up after my internal.

I had a really really hard labour with Kyra. Went into hospital on Friday morning at 1am and she was born on Saturday night at 8pm. She had to be suctioned out as well as she was lying the wrong way and I had to be cut.

But anyway i've decided that unless he doesn't engage or there is a medical reason why I'd need a c-sec i'm not doing it. My doc is on leave from 14 December anyway so he won't even be here to do the c-sec if I need one. That's why he's basically going into all the options available because i'll be with another gynae and he wants me to have all the facts.

He was also talking about an amnio before 37 weeks to make sure his lungs are mature enough should I go into labour or have to be induced or need a c-sec for some reason. But i'm not too sure what he was getting at with this because by then my mind was spinning and I wasn't concentrating.

But i'm seeing him again in 2 weeks time and I have calmed down from yesterday so hopefully i'll be able to ask more questions and understand the whole thing better. At least I know he said he'll have a clearer picture after the 36 week scan and internal and then we'll start discussing options.

Chan, your daughter is very cute, a pretty girl! You can see she is going to be such a big sister to Kade, who is grwoing so well, dont stress about the birth yet, I think take into concideration all that the other girls has said and then closer to the time you weigh your decisions.

Maryke, your lg's party pics are precious, when was her birthday? Hope she had a wonderful day!! Love the minnie theme. BTW, my dh is also telling me I cant drive and what what what, well, if I cant I have news for him, he is going to take me, lol.

Vix, great idea on the storage space! After our baby shower, we still have space in the babies room cupboards and ALL their close fit in the compactum, then we have another cupboard just for the toiletries, bottles, wetwipes (and formula when we get).

I want to start washing th estuff, but im not sure where to start, lol. Was sorting out what must be hand washed and what I can put into the machine, luckily our machine has a delicate cycle so I can put the stuff in there, I think what makes me "nervous" to start is incase their things get ruined, my cousin washed her baby's close and some of the stuff was ruined. I think today I might just do the towels and the toweling cloths, or maybe blanlets, hmmm??

My tummy is so uncomfortable when I go to be, it sometimes hurts, I have also now since monday have this funny feeling in my right shoulder blade, it feels like there might be a bump there, or like somethign keeps digging, sometimes its irritating, sometime a bit sre, but then I move my arm and it goes away, not sure what it is, but my sister said that her friend had developed small lumps on her back to help her support her heavy tummy, maybe its that, not sure?

Thank goodness I am at home now, I really dont think I would be able to cope at work, yesterday at about 12ish I had to lie down, Im ok in the mornings, I can literally feel myself deteriorate as the day goes by, I rest then Im ok for a while again. And Iv really been wanting to bake, but I just think oi, to stand the whole time, well we'll see, either washing or baking today We'll see, there is a movie starting on tv just now.

MommyN, sorry to hear about Hubby being away and no contact with him. Shame, that is terrible. So glad you got something to make you feel better. And yes, my LG sleeps best in her own room! She does sleep well when she occasionally sleeps over at my moms, as long as I am not there.

Kimika, how sweet are you for offering to do the cake! We live in Rayton (about 35km east of Pretoria) but I work in Pretoria. Not sure if I will be on leave from the 15th of Dec, will still see how my boss handles all the news of my early maternity leave etc. But I will definately keep you in mind thanks! My sus did mention that she would be either buying or baking the cake & cupcakes, so for now that is her problem!

to do 2 racks in both the tweenies and C's bedrooms cost us under R400 so a real bargain space saver too.
