Sorry Chris, I wanted to say hi to you in my earlier post this morning and then got side tracked... I mentioned that Vix and Maryke must be feeling it and never mentioned you! Sorry. I wanted to ask abut your baby shower, but you've answered it today! I think when people should plan for the baby shower to be earlier, especially in your case, its not fair to leave it to the last when you dont know what you are getting or still need! Hoping it is this weekend! Hope you are able to go onto home rest from next week!

Vix and Maryke - hope your day has been more comfortable - guess not. Try take it easy! I've been out everyday this week and its just too much! I thought I'd be home tomo, but DH has asked me to go and shop around for cycling gear... 94,7 challenge coming up...

Sarah also turned and was in position from about 30 weeks. I cant remember if it was more or less comfortable - I think by then I had just had enough. And to think I skipped the first 18 weeks not knowing I was pregnant this time round - dont know if it was a good thing or not because the next 12 weeks are going to take forever. Sarah never dropped, when I went into labour, she was right up, how do you put it? I had to push her down... if that makes sense? But they say your 2nd pregnancy can be different.

Vix, I'll have to see closer to the time about the meeting - sorry - DH is away from Monday to late Thursday night, so depends on what he is doing the saturday. Dont want to be out for the day when he has not been home. But maybe he will babysit Sarah - that will actually be a first - for more than an hour! He changed the first nappy (ever for her) last weekend. I was in an awful mood and washing down the patio when she woke and I just cracked and asked f I was the only one who was able to see to her! Well he went to her and she had a whopper of a nappy! He changed the nappies of his other kids, so I am not sure why he doesnt do Sarah's - I think its just a case of I am always around and spoil him! Anyway, he was very proud, although he said it was bad! He should have started before, then it wouldnt be so bad now!

I am tired today, and my puffie ankles are finished.

I dreamt the other night that everyone started having their babies, all on time and healthy, and my little baba just wasnt coming, too comfy!

36w is good, hope you manage, these last few days I have been battling, especially from lunch time. 6w goes by so fast, but when you in pain it just makes that time not enjoyable and seemingly longer.

My cousins boy arrived at 11h31, weighing 3.2 on the dot, 49cm. I thought he would of been alot bigger, but that is a nice weight.

There was so much chit chat this morning and then.... you ladies have been toooo quiet today for my liking Hope you are all ok!

Chris- it was a really weird dream about your bump LOL we were chatting and you said "hey look at these babies move" so i checked out your bump and it was the weirdest squarish 3 bumped shape. Can't really explain it but i think maybe the tweenies were moving and my sub conscious was thinking gosh if i am uncomfortable how must Chris feel LOL

I'm working on about 6 weeks from now, just don't think i will get much further than 36w, doesn't sound like long but actually 6w with this pain might feel like forever.

ooooo and the legs are wriggling in my lower regions but soooo low it honestly feels like one is pulling on my uretha and one poking my cervix! horrible! blurgh i feel like puking!

Claire- cool, i think we'll probably stick with Greenstone mall like before but not sure if people want to do cappuccinos again or rather somewhere else? I don't know much about the area.

Hi ladies

Chan/Vix, I also have those pains now and then. On my way home from work I had pains at the top of my tummy and baby pokes all its body parts where its hurts, I wanted to cry, but I just concentrate on feeling the movements.

Last night I was finished, today I am super tired, my sister keeps moaning at me when she sees me, "You need to start resting!!", so going to speak to my boss today to start working half day at least and the off from 27 or 28 weeks. I would rather be on bedrest at home and able to do work there than be on bedrest in the hospital unable to do anything.

Vix, I think I might join you, Ill be 28w so will see closer to the time.

Im finding myself a little paranoid now and then with aches and pains down below. I think cos my bosses wife started having contractions and 26w and was in hospital for 2 weeks, they managed to stop them. I dont want that to happen!

Vix, I have my 4d on Monday (1 Nov), then my check up 15th. Cant wait for next week, our 4d on monday, (Im hoping my baby shower on Saturday) and our photoshoot on sunday! YAY! ok, could really do with the baby shower being this weekend, but doubt it.

Anyhoo, my (other) cousin has gone in for her c-sec today to have her baby boy Luca, then thats the 3 from my cousins that have popped out in the span of a month, lol, im very curious to know the weight of her boy as he has always been "bigger" than normal.

How are all the other ladies doing?

One of the things I miss most about Cape Town is all the factory shops. I know the Creative Textiles factory shop used to be in Parow - not sure if they are still there? I have moved to J'burg 5 years ago so I am a little out of touch with the factory shops in Cape Town but when I stayed there I used to shop a lot. The Playtex factory shop used to be in Brickfield Road, Salt River - not sure if they are still there?

I will have to stop at Dischem tonight before I miss the specials. Only get paid on Friday but will have to see how far I can squeeze my debit card

My dad is going for an op today - feel so far away with them being in Cape Town and me in J'burg. At least my brother and SIL will be flying down tomorrow to help my mom.

Vix - I am definately coming 13 Nov, Edenvale is my "backyard" so anywhere for me there is perfect. I wanted to mention that the Ackermans at Meadowdale mall (where the chamdor fabric place is) has premmie clothes- i saw them over the weekend.
