Hello Moomies

Suhaila- Apparently hair loss is a good thing- I asked the hairdresser and she said its out with the old in with the new. also went through a phase not so long ago where there was hair everywhere-even blocked the drain in the shower. But maybe BF plays a part, I have no idea. Why was your mothers day not up to scratch either Chickaboo?I am sure you read my story

Chris -I was also giggling fairly loudly and hoping nobody saw me! Man you must have had them wondering for a long time! And as for the donation, thats weird! But I guess its the thought hey?

Maryke- I would have been uttering swear words all the way home, in Durban we are spoilt with the "no traffic" and what you had to endure for nothing its bull! Oh and Roxette, wow what a great treat. I would have loved to have seent ehm live, but as usual they arent coming to Durban.

Vix- I took a peak at what you were on about the other day And wow I think you should make this your favorite thread and detach from the other one- we are much more friendly here We miss you

Jordyn is much better today, no more constipation-Dulphalac is great stuff hey? I am so relieved.

AF arrived again And I feel like a pill popper, seriously hope this gets better. Have any other C sec moms experienced this kind of pain?

My hair is falling out excessively, its all over my home, and there's not much left to my ponytail now;( Chris, I was just surprised at the amount she offered. I suppose something is better than nothing if you are going to offer, but still:)

Hair loss, not more than other times no (i normally stress about nothing so i've got some hair loss all the time), but my hair is much thicker - hate it.

The only thing weird to me while BF now was Sunday till Monday a bit of blood - i almost thought i was starting periods. Light bright colour and gone now.

DH is going to the FreeState next week (Bothaville - Nampo) and suggested i should go to my mom with the kids again to CT- so i'm gonna miss you all - i will be going on Sunday and back Thursday or Friday.

Maryke - sorry friend for trekking all the way to Pretoria and to be told they are not finished yet. Good luck for the trek tomorrow morning!!!! aaaaahhhh you must enjoy Sun City and Roxette. I went to a Roxette show in 1994 / 1995 (giving my age away here) at Green Point stadium and it was a blast - enjoy!!!!!!

Chris - had to laugh at your story - I can only imagine that womens face - sex 3 times in one night!!!!! I can't even imagine how it must feel to loose a parent. I miss my mom so much but at least I can still call her when I need to chat or for advice - currently we are raising Inge over the phone. Strongs friend

AFM - we had 3 very bad nights with Inge (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) - niggly and crying and just mislik but then during the day she was okay. I was convinced it is teething and was looking for the pearly every morning. She went to creche yesterday and they phoned me at about 10:00 to say she is not lekker. Ended up with ear infection - at home today but already this morning she looked much better. Still cannot believe how kids can be fine the one moment and then sick the next (saw it so often with my friends). At least we had more than 3 hours sleep last night - I was finished and then DH tells me on Sunday that he actually needs his sleep because he works during the day - if I didn't love I would have bitch slapped him. And I do what during the day????? MEN


Dassie, yes everybody says to start solids at 6 months but then it depends on the child. Also with reflux babies the Pead do recommend that you start earlier with solids. I use to put Nestragel into Inge's bottles and then stopped with the Nestragel and added porridge to her bottles (about 3 months) and she was fine. She started solids at 4 months and were already used to the porridge taste. Veggies is a different story as it is a completely new taste but we are working on it. I've used the Purity Gluten Free maize / rice porridge. Apparently you shouldn't use wheat before a certain age.

LOL Suhaila. I think its normal for post-pregnancy, I actually wanted to ask a while ago if anyone else was also experiencing it, I had quite thick hair and now it is thin because so much of it falls out, like seriously hand full its scary, both while washing and after. My mil told me to take iron tablets she read that it helps with hairloss, so anything to help. I think it has helped a bit.

Well, you dont know if people will be offended if you take the money or dont take it, so we never took it, they would then tell everyone you know this coouple took money from us! LOL, I suppose you dont give if you dont want to give

My mothers day turned out ok, but still had my moments, I think May in general is such a hard month for us because its the month my mom passed away too,m so I just hate May.

Lizelle, glad K is taking to the bottle much better!

Dassie, they said to start solis at 6 months, but aparently there is new evidence that it is fine to start at 4months, but when I spoke to my paed about it she said it was fine as long as they have doubled their birth weight (and I think over the 17/18week mark), but you will see when they are ready. Alessandro is now really starting to enjoy his porridge, I think he would just prefer it to the milk. Alexia and Athena dont seem to be too interested about it so I just add some in their milk. But I really do think it depends on you and baby as all paeds and moms have their own opinions. I wanted to start them as they were complaining with each bottle.

Alexia has figured her screech, she watches TV, (not ideal, but it gives me 5 minutes!) and she moans and talks to the tv, even in the play mat, she does the same to the mobile toys, its funny, she is a naughty little grl, but very cute. Athena just loves doing all these new things with her mouth, it is so cute, she puts her lips togetehr and blows, the other night she was sucking her top lip inand kept doing it, she would suck, let go, suck, let go, it was so funny. Alessandro, wow, what a mommys boy, last night dh was getting irritated cos while he tried feedig him he complained the whole time and dh said No, he must get used to other people, lol.

On Mother's day we went past Greenstone Shopping Centre (more quiet than the others), it was very awkard, dh had Alessandro in the Kangopouch and he would walk away from me (who had the twin pram) if there were too many stares. But the twin pram helps, people walk past and comment its twins, then you hear them being correct, not its 3!! We just ignored them half the time. This couple were so amazed they offered us money (R30) more like a donation, lol, it was funny! Then this other lady who was entertained with the lot got caught with us in the lifts and asked me if it was IVF, I told her no, I had sex 3 times in one night! You should of seen her face, Serious!!??? she asked me, I told her yes, if she wants twinsm, she must do it twice, if she wants 3 she must do it 3 times, can you imagine her face, my mil told her not to kid herself as it was hard work, so I told the lady yes, its hard work having sex 3 times 1 night!! I dont know who was more shocked! LOL
