Hello Everyone
Hope all of you had a wonderful Mother's Day- though mine was ruined I still felt special- Dyl got me a big bunch of flowers and a bunch of Roses from bubs, also a mug that says I am the best mummy in the world...So sweet

Nice to feel so special.
Had Jordyn at the Paed yesterday because since I changed from Nan1 to Nan2 on Friday he has been constipated. Poor sausage was going blood red in the face yesterday and sopping wet with sweat and crying the way he was pushing. I didn't want to leave it and it got worse. She said that it is probably the changeover, so have to give him suppositories and Dulphalac for a few days. He has never had a problem before shame. After the suppository today he was a little better but still cried and wanted to be held.
Lizelle- How are you feeling?
Dassie- They say you should only introduce solids at around six months, milk still is their only form of proper nourishment. Starting earlier isn't the end of the world, but not really necessary. Also it didn't make Jordyn sleep through. I know our moms started us really early etc, but if your baby is developing well, there isn't really a need. I started Jordyn at 5 1/2 months, purely cos I was on leave and wanted to be able to do it. Did cereal once a day for two weeks, then twice a day. Then paed said replace one cereal with a veg and so forth until you do three meals a day.Not sure why to start with cereal, but can't imagine why it would be a bad thing to feed cereal? I did rice cereal.Let us know how it goes.
Maryke- I agree, there is no excuse and he really should pay for his mistake. When he went to court, they told him its postponed until October and the docket will probably get lost WTF! I feel sorry for him, we all make mistakes but this is not the first time he has driven drunk, so its been a long time coming! Now, I am interested in how you did your sleep training? It obviously worked

Where are you going for mom's weekend off????
