Hi ladies

Glad all is doing well... not really in the best frame of mind to post personals...

My dad passed away on the 17 April 2011 and his funeral was the 21 April 2011 was a very sad 2 weeks but the 17 and 21 was the worst but he is in a better place just can't believe that in a months time how quick his health deteriorated the last week in the hospital was a hard week bat I am at peace that he is not suffering anymore

terrible experience BF 2 nights ago...
since then...the following day I tried BF every feed and not even one suck from the boob. Eventually yesterday I was so upset and so frustrated I didnt want to even rock Matt to sleep and I was frustrated within minutes of trying to get him to sleep. so DH did most of the Matt care...
I didnt even want him to sleep in the bed anymore with me.
So I decided its just not happening. My heart is so broken that he wont feed from me - I feel 100% rejected by him. Yes he is a baby and yes he doesnt know any better...but it is a natural thing for them to BF and he just refuses!!!
the La Leche League lady was suppose to phone me yesterday and come see me. Well she didnt do either. I called and left a message and she didnt reply. She has not called today either. I am very disappointed in her as she is suppose to be my support and pillar of strength meanwhile she's no where to be found!
If she calls, I will give it a chance with her. (probably only once). if she doesnt call - thats me done.
so now I'm figuring out how to get enough milk out pumping, with the least amount of pumping possible. been keeping a record of how much I get per pump and how long I can go between pumps. doing about 6 hours between pumping now which is great as I only pump 4 times per day and one of those is during the night. so its not longer taking over my life. the past 2 days supply has been fine - but I think its slowly starting to decrease. will keep an eye on it another 3-4 days and decide if I need to rather pick up an extra pumping somewhere.

if I am not able to pump enough, we are going to give him half formula and half breastmilk (hopefully then he wont be constipated). however I do have a freezer full of BM to get through first.
We are also starting sleep training. This little one is too clever. Only sleeps if in motion or in hands...
So last night was his first night in the "co-sleeper" bed. He does not fall asleep in it. He has to be in bed with me for about 30 minutes then we transfer him and he sleeps in the co-sleeper until the next feed with no disturbance.
Today We did no rocking...just patting of his bum. I just put him into his little bed now, no patting. Just a firm hand on his arms and tummy and he's asleep. not sure how long it'll last but we really want him to start learning to fall asleep on his own. And we want him in his own cot in the next week or 2. He just sweats WAY too much being in bed with me. I literally need to change his clothes and blanket during the night its soaked with sweat. Tried putting him just in a nappy and its the same effect. He cant sleep unless swaddled so ya...

When I was there in hospital I also suffered from bed problem. So when I came back to home I searched for good home hospital bed. During net surfing I came across transfermaster.com this site. This company provide wide range of features and options in home hospital beds.

Its freezing here, I don't want to lift my top up to feed Aaqil:( but oh so beautiful and picturesque:) saw zebra but will go on a game drive tomorrow:)

quick update on ashley. pneumonia (early stages) and ear infection in both ears. she was admitted last night so i went through with her and left cameran and baby with my sister and craig.

i told him this morning on the phone that he needs to stay over today becasue i need to feed emily as i am so engorged. went to maternity ward to express and got out 300ml. that is alot of milk and i was in such pain. my breastpump doesn't seem to be working. he got all miffed and grumpy because he has to stay and its too boring. tough flippin shit dude. i have a responsibility to emily. anyway, just got home and i decided that i will go back anyway but he hasn;t decided what he wants to do. blady husband.

anyway,

meags, i hope you are ok there my friend. thought of you last night while i was so engorged. it is really painful hey?

hope baby M takes to boobie. have you put glycerine on your nipple or gripe water? they both are sweet and may encourage him to suck a little more.
