Jan/Feb 2011 Mommies (Nov & Dec 2010 early babes)

Hi everyone, thanks for welcoming me to your thread. Vix &miks-mom- sorry i'm not on fb and i haven't figured out how to post pics here yet! Help! I'm using my phone to access this site. Yvette- my babies are also 10weeks old today. They grow really fast. They're going for their vaccinations again on fri- had no probs the first time.

Welcome twinbee - Congrats on your twin girls. Sorry to hear about your ordeal but atleast its over and you are enjoying your babies.

Vix - Sorry to hear that you are having problem with C. I am sure he will overcome it and be back to normal soon.

Yvette - Congrats on the 10 week. Yes time really goes by fast. I sometimes can't believe that Shrevash is already 12 weeks.

Meags - Hope you feel better soon.

Yesterday at aout 10am I got a call from my mom. She said that Shrevash was not well and she thinks he needs to go to a doctor. Anyway left work and went home, took him to our gp. Shrevash has picked up a gastric virus that is going around. Shame my poor baby had cramp, a slight temperature, his throat was infected as well. So now he is anti-biotics. When I was leaving home this morning I felt so terrible, all I wanted to do was be at home to look after my baby.

MiksMommy- I'm such an idiot, it's next month they were concieved. I'm thinking now how can Wian be concieved after the twins because your DD was Dec and Mine Jan and then it hit me DUH! Thanks for helping me work that out before everyone thought I was totally crazy

I can't believe Wian is going out of 3-6m clothes, Alex is on 0-3m and Jono still on newborn and they only a few days younger than Wian.

I don't think your posts have been depressing and even if they were that's why we're here, to support each other. When I stggled with PND it was my fellow mommies who managed to get me to wise up and go to the Dr. Without forum friends I would be totally alone.

MommyN- I really think you need to write up your birth stories hun, if it still doesn't help then maybe you can consider to g see someone about your emotional distress. It's really tough, I have seen a few women who have struggled with the birth experience that went wrong and councelling seems to have helped but I do know they will ask you to write up your feelings surrounding the birth o just try that first. I know you, you love your kiddies with every bit of your heart and you would never have resentment towards Nathan for the birth (don't think that's strange because I did resent C for a long time, it happens) but you are holding some resentment and I think you need to find where it is and pull it out. The only way you'll start to feel better is to find a way to overcome your bad feelings about the birth. You'll never be able to cge what happened but you can change how you feel about it.

We had a tough night, the tweenies are all stuffy nosed grrrr o.k not too bad I probably still shouldn't complain but I was up for dummies about 7 times.

C is enjoying school but totally hates me right now. He won't talk to me, he won't listen to me, I can't kiss him or hug him, I mustn't touch him and sometimes I'm not even allowed in the same room as him. I'm quite irritated by him right now and actually he can stay at bloody school for all I care right now

girls, emily is 10 weeks old already, can you believe how time flies?

i am tired this morning but got stuff to do - no rest for me today, but maybe i can squeeze on in this afternoonwhile ashley sleeps.

chris = how are you and how is the night time thing going with the A-team?

vix - congrats on the fetilisation last year funny chick. i am not too sure when my dates were as all the EDD's i had throughout the pregnancy were different, within ten days. how are the boys> C still loving school? has his behaviour there improved alot? and at home?
do you make warm winter sheets? how much for a large sized cot mattress?

carmen - hope you and baby M are well. 3 weeks already! well done mommy, you are doing a great job!

ster - how is inge and the routine at night now?

chan - is kade feeling better with his constipation and cramps? what milk is he on now>?

maryke - how is new maid? have the boys gone off to creche now?

meags - shicks girl, but time is close for u now! i get gooseflesh thinking about birth and those first few weeks! when does your mom arrive?

Vix @ wow... can you BELIEVE its a year ago?? Wian was conceived on the 21st of this month! Are you going to celebrate by doing what you did a year ago?? LMAO hubby and I where laughing about SMEP the other day... those where the days!! How is C doing at school?

AFM poor Wian is teething too I could not believe it so I dragged him to the dr yesterday! Dr was quite cheerful when he announced that its just teeth making him so ratty! The good news at least he isn't sick. He chews and drools all the time and screams when I put my finger in his mouth. Poor angel! Teething SUCK! He isn't drinking so well either, hopefully today will be better.

I'm feeling much better, so sorry for my really depressing posts! Things just got a bit much! We have injections on Friday, can't wait to see how much my monkey weighs! He is going to be out of those 3-6mnths clothes SOON!

A friend on mine from school (She also chats here, but I am not going to mention her name) anyway, her mom was kidnapped yesterday. Police found her late yesterday afternoon. Poor family

Maryke- what am I missing or what did I forget? D-day? Is this for the boys op?

I keep getting wooozy and feeling all emotional when I think back to how small and fragile the boys were when they were born. It must be hormones, I don't really think I thought about it too much at the time, They were my babies and they were perfect but now when I look at how big they've gotten and how healthy they are I do feel so sorry for how tiny they were. Think I would get the shock of my life if I had to see a 1.6kg baby now.

A year ago today I concieved the first of my precious boys. I had a rare case of twins where I ovulated twice but on seperate days almost a week apart. Alex was conceived on CD10 and Jonathan on CD16. So exactly a year ago on this day my first little miriacle was concieved and my journey to motherhood had started once again. Little did I know it would bring double trouble LOL

Ster Aiden is the same he sucks like he has never had a bottle for the day and it can upset him terribly but once the dummy is in he feels better...

MommyN shame man I feel you with doing everything I was thinking when I was preparing the boys bath that I would actually cope if I had to be a single mom not that I am wishing hubby away he does help now and again but I must say he was more hands on with my lg then what he is with the boys so flippen heartsore...

Vix I am with you also like the 1+ stage more user friendly
