I also had C-sec, early because Jonathan had stopped growing but thankfully no complications with the birth.

I'm sorry to hear about your complications and the hysterectomy but wow, sounds like you have a great supportive and loving DH

now, something tells me you might be the lady that Chris was telling us about, i remember when she was in hospital she was telling us about a twin mommy who had complications and lost her uterus. Small world hey!

we have so many multiples on this thread now it's crazy, must have been something in the air that month.

Carmen- wow, sounds like you're enjoying Mishka! The BF can get tough especially when they become so demanding. Demand feeding can be tough. I had issues with my first born and it broke me down emotionally.

Thanks carmen- so glad to be able to take care of my babies- wont be able to have more as in the end they had to do a hysterectomy. So these babies are really precious- luckily they were fine just a bit small- 2.1 and 1.6 at birth

Hi girls, i'm a new mommy to 2 gorgeous twin girls- born 29 dec 2010 at 34w5d via cs. Had a bit of a pregnancy complication and woke up about 4days later in icu having been into theatre four times and not remembering anything from the cs. Came home on 15jan c my first babe- gemma and 2nd babe -jamie came home a week later! Been enjoying each others company since then. My husband has been an abs rock during this time. Chris think we went to the same gynae at brenthurst

Sorry I've been scarce and no personals.Tried to read all the posts.

Been BFing on demand, sometimes a feed lasts 2 hours, don't know if I mentioned this before, Mishka's a grazer keeps falling asleep on the B, so have to keep waking her to make sure she ha fed enough. We had few problem evenings and days, some tears we shed - by me- she cries only when hungry and being changed, I try a feed her a little when she wakes then change her, else she has a crying fir until she is picked from the changing mat. She feeds every 2 - 3 hours - sometimes I'm lucky and have a 4 hour break btw the night feeds.
Still feeding with the nipple shields and it can get quite messy as it doesn't always stay in place then there is milk dripping down my belly, down her cheek and into her neck and wets the baygro, what a waste.

She gained 120 at each of the last 2 weighs, was not yet at her birth weight last Friday - but the gain is consistent and nothing to be worried about. She still has baby acne i can't wait for it to clear.

She is so precious and we love her to bits!

Marie, I also use Buscopan for cramps.

Shrevash seems to be doing better on the Dr. Brown's bottle, so will wait a few days and see if it really helps, then will buy more.

Ster- I was thinking about cancer patients with hair loss the other day when I felt like a freak show just cos of the twins. Why do people stare when they see something out of the ordinary yet not exactly rare. And to have the cheek to walk up and ask her if she shaved her head? Terrible!

O.k I gotta go cos the boys are complaining.
