TaNasha HUGS hun. Hugs and more hugs.
This is very stressful for you and I'm so sorry you have to go through it. Rakker and Philipajane are right - cleft lip is easily treated and is fairly common as well. Please don't stress hun. You are very fortunate to have such a skilled sonar tech. I haven't even had a look at my LB's face let alone to see if all is normal.
You asked about the amnio. I have to admit that I was in a state - a huge state

Which I know does add to discomfort. It's not really painful, but I felt discomfort - but nothing to make me catch a breath or cry out. It's over very quickly - very very quickly. I posted a full account on the Advice re Amnio thread (Pregnancy and Childbirth). I tried to remember everything so that all the details could help others. Schatsie from the March/April thread had an amnio and she said hers was totally painless. So I really do think that my state of nerves and fear added to the discomfort. After the amnio I was fine. Please don't do as I did and get all wound up about it. It's not worth it.
I'll check up on you later, just want to post this quickly for you.
Mwaah.....hugs....
