Yay on your 28n week appt and Dr supporting your natural birth. The more research I do the more I want to go completely natural. But I am such a baby. Don't think I can handle it!
My sister went all natural - just used gas and I'm afraid she had one of those nightmare births. So much so that she made her husband have a vasectomy afterwards. She did regret her decision about 8 years later...

Philipajane I don't blame you for being annoyed. It's a bit non-think to organise a baby shower without first ensuring that the date suits mom-to-be.

According to Miss Manners organising your own baby shower, or even having someone in the immediate family organise it is a no-no. It looks like a gift-grabbing exercise!! I'm ashamed to say that I got a bit annoyed when I was invited to my manicurists baby-shower. Her husband just sent sms's to everyone on her mobile. And I had only been going to her for about two months!

Esmari, it great that you're going to study. Do it for yourself and don't worry about what the other people think. I also want to study again, but don't really know what.

Rakker, I understand you problem, debt really causes a lot of stress. At least if it is neccesary debt, you can face it a lot more positively than if it was just simple overspending.

AFM: Went for our 28 week appointment yesterday and I made a list before the time of questions to ask the dr, because everytime I get there my mind goes blank and I can't think of the things that I wanted to ask him. He's cool about me going natural as long as everything is safe but very pro epidural, and I would like to try without an epidural. And he says the changes of him delivering the baby is almost 100%, so that's great news, I won't have to deal with a new strange dr.

Keagan is doing well and growing well - he has a big head...his head measure a week before the rest of his body, but is still normal. His dad had a huge head when he was a baby, so I might have to opt for the epidural in the end.

I've also started making lists of everything we still need and how much it''s going to cost, so I'm feeling a lot more prepared. And today I'm going to book my 4D scan at the hospital.

Mornings

Ok, first I want to vent. My mom phoned me in a state this morning. My brother opened the fridge, and a opened tin (the lid not off) fell out, and it slit his wrist. So she is at the hospital (medi-c), and they refuse to help her unless she puts down R1000 -she has a ma. Then the doc comes, and tells them to buger off, and helps my brother for free. Must my brother just flippen bleed out or what? Thats the only hospital in town (Kathu).

Anyway, good morning. My ancle is better today. Have to drive this pm to get my son from school and my lg to dance class. And I have to bake 2 choc cakes for a 21st on saturday. Its going to be a choclate key cake, with blue, purple and silwer decor. I got some edible silwer glitter, and am gonna make purple roses with 'plastic icing', then dipping the tips in the glitter. Will come post a pic when done tomorrow.

Phillipa, I would just not have mentioned anything. They should have made sure you are available! Let them party on their own. Hehe.

Solo my appointment is at 4PM SA time. Its quite a drive from us, so me and DH are making a day out of it and going to the city and then to the zoo and then hospital.

I have been praying so hard that its only the cleft.

I have my 4D scan tomorrow, i'm more anxious than excited. I feel like i've put my baby under a lot of pressure. I even called my gynae to see if he can't squeeze me in after the 4d scan. But i decided to keep my next week's appt cause that way i get to see him soon after tomorrow.

But i just came in to say, @TaNasha you are in my thoughts. Praying that all will be well with your little one.

Esmari, Give me the application form i'll fill it in for you!!!!! Education is a must. No matter what age you are. I'm serious, you should be very proud of yourself that you are doing something for YOU.
