Can't believe you have 5 weeks to go. Phew time really does fly. It will be us May, June and July mommies soon.....

Lalie - hey girl, how are you and LB doing? I really liked your thread about the c-sections...I am elective (was - my boy is breech and is not turning lol) and it was great to read. turning over in bed is a bit uncomfy at night and end of day my tummy at bottom is a bit sore otherwise all smiles - loving my belly, people are sooo polite and move for me -*sigh* I will miss that hee hee

Welcome Laliek! So I wont be the only 30 odd lady on moomie to qualify. Hehe. I am enroling now for the next semester. So will still be 26. My dh turns 32 this year, and he has about 3y left to finish his civil engineering diploma. So both of us will be studying.

I think the one other positive thing. I am a sahm.

As far as I can understand TaNasha, the fish test results are the preliminary results (basic results) that they give to you 2-3 days after the test. The full results come back after 2-3 weeks - the fluid needs to culture in the lab. My medical aid wouldn't pay for the fish test so I waited for the full results. Ask before your test, maybe they can explain it in more detail.

Solo whats the difference between the 2? I have no idea, they didnt say much, and im nots ure if things are done the same here as in SA. They said they need to get my results to me ASAP as I only have untill 24 weeks to terminate (i am still so confused about this, but we will cross that bridge when we get there)

If I could I would go with you tomorrow. I know and understand your fear... it will be fine though. And we will all be here for you while you wait for the results. Are you going to ask for the fish test or wait for the 2-3 weeks?

ClaireC LOL re the Gaviscon. I bought the wrong flavour last week - yugh - Aniseed flavour. Horrid stuff. BF had heartburn and I gave him some Aniseed Gaviscon. He pulled such a face and nearly cursed me for making him drink it hehe. Next morning he had heartburn again and I offered him some Gaviscon. His response... "Thanks, but, um, no thanks!!" It couldn't have been so bad then - nothing a Rennies can't fix! Men have absolutely nooooo idea

Tanasha - I'm praying for you and your in my thoughts!! In my heart I believe your baba will be ok xxx Just keep the faith. And remember, no one will ever judge you - if something goes wrong in pregnancy it's not your fault xxx

Esmari - I'm turning 31 and still studying lol!! I did Bcompt Accounting Science through Unisa and will probably do my honeurs in 2012 and then write CA in 2013 - so I'll be 33 by time I qualify - and you know what - your NEVER too old to study!!!

Claire - how's baba doing? It's almost time for you - can't wait!!!
