ClaireC - thanks. BF certainly has been a different man since I left him to think about our relationship. It's wonderful Let's hope this is the last of his nonsense. He knows he has used up his last chance, and that my eye is still very much on the exit door!

TaNasha - I am so sorry you are going for an amnio - shame hun thinking of you and DH xxx I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through, please take it easy over the next couple of weeks...

Solo - btw I am so glad your BF came to the pregnancy party sometimes being a tough cookie has the right effect.

And as everyone says if it is just a cleft lip then they can fix it...

DH has also taken the week off. Thursday still feels like forever!

In my heart I know everything will be ok, but I cant help buy worry. Getting pregnant and this pregnancy so far has not exactly been easy, but it makes me appreciate my special little miracle even more.

A friend tols me it takes a special person to have a special baby.

For now I am going to take a nice bubblebath and pusuade DH to spoil me.

Hello Everyone, Miss chatting to you all so much...

I kept getting notifications and wondered what was happening.

OH TaNasha. I can't believe it!

I just wich i could give you a big hug. And i just needed to say what the other ladies have said, please dismiss any thoughts of what you might have done because fact is whatever the cause, we all know you never would have done ANYTHING knowingly that would harm your child.

Please please don't do that to yourself, let us just pray it is just cleft lip and nothing more.

It is okay to cry my love. Just lay there and feel her kick and talk to her. I remember the first time i felt my baby kick i said "the angels are singing for me". It is the most comforting thing i've come to know.

Wish there was more i could say to make it all better. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

TaNasha - so sorry to hear about it! And like the other ladies said, a cleft lip/palate can be easily fixed! My cousin had it 31 years ago and they fixed it then (she had it bad). Today you won't even say she had that problem at all! And she did some modelling work as well.

And yes, don't get your hopes too much up, but remember, doctors do make mistakes with the scans even in this day and age!
