Hapi - I'm sorry you are feeling disappointed. You'll just have to wait and see how things go - and the girsl (and your) safety really is the most important thing!

TaNasha - I think it's fantastic you HAVE to take ML 6 weeks before due date! And definitely sounds like you are nesting...just try not to overdue it all at once! I haven't started with the cleaning urge just yet but definitely been doing other nesting things. Had to promise my DH on Saturday that I wouldn't move any more furniture. I know I shouldn't but just can't resist...wanted to move the cot and other nursery furniture around to try and find the best configuration

Ankia - I don't blame you re gym - the whole 'getting there, finding parking etc' thing is what stopped me renewing my contract...hee. Sure you are going to have a great getaway next week! Shew, I feel like going away now too

Candi - Canal Walk would work for me. I'm available during the week or on weekends so am easy as to when. Other ladies...?

Afm, DH and I went to Baby City on Sunday to do our gift registry. Not sure if people will actually buy off of it but would really help us out! Also looked at car seat/ pram/stroller options...
Was good to have DH there with me. I had thought I had made up my mind but we are now reconsidering....the graco mirage travel system is really appealing to us. Had never actually wanted a travel system but it certainly does have bonus features. What are all you ladies using when it comes to prams and car seats?

I am doign great, just being lazy about going to gym, so I have now decided that I am will take it easy, I will still go on walks with W in the afternoon, I just not feel like gyming and looking for parking and so on.

So I see my midwife again on Monday, I just hope that the scale does not break - hehe, she is so worried about my wieght, and it is not something I am worried about, I do eat healthy, so we will see
I also have a 4d scan on the 2nd of July and can not wait.

We have booked into a geusthouse for next week close to MIL, and she will come stay with us, luckily it is in Vanderbijl, so it is still close enough for me to go to my appointments - will update with my phone

Hi everyone!

Hapi wow 5 weeks! that will fly by! Think about yourself and your girls, you need to rest and prepare for the birth. Here in Holland we are required by law to stop working 6 weeks before your due date. I 1st thought it would be horrible and that I would be bored at home, but now I am so happy with it. I really needed it.

Laliek, take it easy! Hope C stays put for a while!

Candi that pain sounds horrible, hope it gets better soon.

So I have had my 1st day of ML, and all I have done is clean this whole afternoon, even though we have a cleaning lady. everything just HAS to be clean and neat NOW, i think I am starting with nestling!

I also went to the midwife today and Esme is already dropped/engaged! Looks like she is getting ready for birth, now i just need to get myself ready!

We also have a scan tonight, cant wait to hear what she weighs!

hapi I am so sorry it is not working out on your dates, I am also pushing it, but it is better to listen to docter and not be to busy

Hi Lalie, pheew' - I was almost sure that you had delivered .Im happy C has dropped and do take it easy please. Great to hear that apart from that all is well.

So, our payroll dept says they cant help me with uif if my mat leave is not captured on the system. So I fill in the form, call the Doc to request a letter saying I will be suitable to work 'til 29 July (so that I can attach it on the leave form as this is a requirement)

Anyhoo, doc was busy but he called back and said that he is not convinced that I will be suitable to work 'til 29th as the girls are getting big & heavy for my uterus. He said he does not think I will deliver sooner, I might just need some bed-rest. He said to me that he will asess at next week's appointment and take it from there,he kept reiterating that i am not super pregnant mom and that its not about me but about the girls.

You guys have no idea how disapponted I am, my mind was so set about making it to the very end.

I guess sometimes,life just happens.

Well I was told now to start taking it easy as C definitely did drop and apart from that the getting cramps etc I HAVE to slow down. So I'm now only working in mornings and afternoons working from home till I finish. Also was told not to travel too far anymore either so luckily I'm only seeing clients close by for next 4 weeks.

Hapi can't believe time is flying like that!

Im sorting out my uif forms, such a lot of forms to fill out. We are doing the countdown now, its exactly 5 weeks today 'til the girls are here. Hopefully they stay put until then. I cant believe the moment is almost here.
