Hi ladies,

Feels like I've been offline for a loooong time! June has been a bit chaotic.

Cannot even start to comment on everyone else's posts, so pls forgive me  But I have been following all the stories and updates & pictures.

I'm also in Cape Town, so would be keen to join you girls for a get-together, pretty flexible at this stage.

AFM, I cannot believe that I'll be 29weeks on Saturday! At my last obgyn visit all was looking good and baby growing nicely. Felt a bit tired last few days so took myself off to my GP and I've got a bladder infection :( Once i'm done with this post, I'll be off to pharmacy to get my medicine and get this sorted ASAP!

Otherwise, I arranged a friend's baby shower, been up to Jhb & Pretoria for work twice in the last 2 weeks and we also had a last pre-baby get-away in Mosselbay last week. Just spent the time relaxing & resting. I purposefully didn't sort through any of my mom's things, nothing rushing me to do that at this stage.... Also arranged for my cot to be shipped from Mosselbay to CT (arriving 6 July), so our LO will grow up in the cot that I grew up in :) Also still have to do some of the big-item shopping like car seat/stroller/travel system - decisions, decisions and there are so many choices and things to consider, feels a bit overwelming

We are starting our antenatal course on 23 July - really looking forward to that. And I won a photoshoot in a FB competition (totally unrelated to pregnancy!), but decided that seeing that I run in the opposite direction when a camera is pointed in my direction, this may be a sign that I need to document some part of my pregnancy, so will use it for that - when is the best time in pregnancy to do these shoots?

Well, that was a big update and I promise to be back again soon - not just once a month :) And hopefully meet the CT ladies soon.

Keep warm and safe and look after the precious bundles!

Sunette

Just a small note - some of the clothes may have small defects but most don't. So just check them before buying.

And I highly recommend Pam Blacks A-Z of Factory Shops book to anyone living in CT! A great buy! :)

Argh! I just lost my post twice! So Naz, here is a quick review on the factory shops...

Treehouse: Corner of Hillstar and Argo Rd, Wetton. Near Hillstar trafftic department.

Bee Line: Castor Rd, Lansdowne. Off Turfhall Rd. Does some adult clothes and Pj's and a good range of baby and small children's clothes. The pj's I got there today for R158 are R300 in Woolies (I happened to look at them in Woolies yesterday)

Easy Wear (used to be Bibettes) Induland Cresent, Lansdowne. Turn into Induland Rd off Turfhall Rd and then into Induland Cresent.

Hi all! :)

Lost my post last night and couldn't be bothered to redo it...hee.

TaNasha - does Esme have a cleft lip or palate? From everything I hear it is so 'treatable' these days that you will probably hardly be able to notice anything when she's older.

Candi & Naz - Sun 3rd is good for me :)

Laliek - so glad C is doing so well - goergeous big boy!

Ankia - you are in a difficult spot - needing to get W used to being alone at other people's homes but he's obviously feeling a bit insecure about it. Really hope the visit on Saturday goes well!

Afm, I had such a scare yesterday - I was stupidly running to answer the phone and I tripped and fell flat on my stomach! Got such a shock! Luckily I caught most of my weight with my hands so actually barely felt anything on my tummy...but was stressing until I felt him moving around happily. Saw my MW this morning and everything is fine and on track. Just made me realize I really do need to be more careful and take things easy.

So, after my MW appointment I decided to do some retail therapy ;) Went to check out the Treehouse factory shop (didn't buy anything though) and then went to 2 other factory shops that sell woolies clothes. I bought a pair of pj's at each of them and it still cost me less than the 1 pair would have if I got them from Woolies. So rather chuffed ;) I do love a bargain...ha ha

Hope you all have a good day. Keep warm and safe!
