oh and Laliek i havent completely packed my hospital bag yet. Im still trying to decide what I want to wear during labour. If i wear pjs does that that mean i will have to pull the pants down every time they want to check something or do i just wear a tshirt and lay there all exposed? Or should i wear like a dress t-shirt thing?

Hi mommies!

Laliek you defnitly have to take it easy! I was also supposed to work half days last month, but I was lucky if I got to leave the office at 16.30. I think now that it was soo not worth it. Work is coping without me now, so those few hours then would not have made such a big difference in the world!

Hapi glad you are obbeying and taking it easy too :)

Ankia wow i admire you even going to the gym up to 27 weeks! i stopped completely when i found out I was pregnant. Now all I do is yoga and pregnancy gym. I cant wait to start doing zumba and aerobics again! Enjoy your 4D scan!

Skai we have a travel system and it seems very handy. We dont have the graco ones here in NL, but I got a Quinny one and cant wait to use it!

BoB enjoy Idols! I could watch it for hours on end!

So Esme is already weighing 2550 grams! They said we could expect her t be around 3.8kg when she´s born. Otherwise all is well. She has a cleft lip, so I am trying to prepare myself as much as I can, especially for the birth. Tomorrow I am meeting with a lactation consultant as feeding babies with clefts can be challenging, so that should be interesting.

Today I woke up at 9 and started cleaning and didnt stop till 4! I was exhausted when i stopped! But it feels so nice being in a clean house. My poor DH though - he came home, sat on the couch and took his shoes off and then I started yelling at him that he cant just let all his stuff lay around the whole house while i spent the whole day cleaning. Must be the hormones, poor man. I made him a cup of tea afterwards as I felt so bad.

I have also finished most things for the nursery! Here are some photos:

Hi ladies

Sorry for only updating half-way yesterday, was on my phone when I posted and still at work :(

Ankies I agree with Hapi - you look lovely and not fat! And I still admire you for even keeping up with gym for so long

Hapi I agree with everyone else, you should really take it easy as well! You have double trouble in your tummy :P

Skai we bought the Graco mirage travel system (well I think it's the mirage one, it was about R2200 and is basically grey and charcoal!). I'm quite happy with our decision as it's nice and compact and I didn't want to spend too much money on a stroller as DH wanted the kangaroo pouch so I have a funny feeling the pouch will be utilised more than what the stroller will lol! He's already fantasizing about walking around at the baby expo end of the year with Cameron in the pouch :woohoo:

Tanasha I saw your facebook post - Esme is nice and big hey!! You'd better keep those legs closed for a little while longer :silly:

AFM: Yip Skai, ended working full day yesterday and today only managed to leave at 15h00. Luckily it was due to meetings taking longer than expected so although I was still exhausted, at least I didn't kill myself at the office lol. Tomorrow though I'm leaving at 12 and on Thursday as well! Friday I have another meeting :(

Anycase, we were suppose to see doc again today as he didn't weigh and do proper check up last week just a quick one with cramps etc. So he had an emergency this afternoon and now we're seeing him at 12h15 tomorrow afternoon! Can't wait. Would love to know what C weighs - everybody at work is commenting how huge I've become over the past 2 weeks lol. I must admit I see it as well. And now with Cameron so low, my tops doesn't completely cover my tummy anymore!! Oi vey, I look like a pregnant trailer park lady

I'm getting sooo excited. Oh I still haven't bought darn pyjamas for hospital and still haven't finished my hospital bag!! Did any of you ladies finish it already??

Oh and Hapi, I'm also busy with the UIF foms - annoying hey??

Hi There

Ankies, dont be silly you are not fat but we all see ourselves as fat at one point or another so i totally understand ;)

TaNasha, shoo your edd is fast approaching as well hey? I could be wrong but I think in SA the basic conditions of emplyment also recommend that we be off work 4 weeks before your edd but if the Doctor gives a script saying you are still fit to work it normally is ok. I guess it is not as strict. How did your scan go?

Skai, I will not be buying a pram I'm going for the Mclaren twin stroller. I think it will be more practical for our situation. Car seats not sure yet, but i understand that graco & chicco are good brands.

and I promise to be goodand listen to the doctors orders :)
