how have you all been doing?

ive tried about 6 times to post but i keep losing it and then i get upset and put the computer off....but today im gonna post.

Ankia : so glad your taking it easy and getting that much needed rest.

Laliek : how r u? did u get ur exam results yet? i did and i managed to pass all the papers i wrote( sure it was my little mans brains helping me out)

Hapi: im so glad you got your baby necesseties out of the way, u no for my 1st preg i had the runns as well...lol tmi sorry..btw did your friend throw you the baby shower yet? i also packed the hospital bag for the 100th time and i had to open the nappies ...ag man they soo small its like only a handfull of cute bums will fit in there....

Tanasha : you look so sweet and still tiny so dont worry ..u a hot momma...lol

Skai: we only have to pretend we are supermoms and not actually try and do superhero stuff like fly...hope you didnt get ugly blue bruises after you fell..

Sinderella: hey girl , just take your time to sort thru your moms things and you will be surprised at how little things will give you comfort...ive been really ill with flu and just thinking of my mom and how she wud fuss over me brings a smile to my face..really miss her as well.

Naz: slms on this big night , i pray the almighty keep you and grant all your dua's.

Candi : hey girl been missing your crazy posts: hope you and the little miss are doing well, when will the dh be back?

AFM: hubby took us for a little break to the Royal Sibaya Hotel last week and it was soo beautiful and we all really enjoyed just being lazy all day , thats until the DD got fever and night chills then it was really scary cos she was really hot, lucky they have a dr on call at the hotel and he gave her some meds to break the ferver, needless to say after that i wanted to be at home so i could take better care of her..

and then guess who got the flu......ME ...and im still dying with it, been trying every natural remedy thats been thrown at me... but nothing seems to be helpin, my gyne wanted to see me on sat befor he went on hols and the baba is now 1.6kg thats 300g from the week before, so this bean needs to carry on and grow grow grow.

So please you guys feel free to thro any flu, cough headache remedies that you have in your arsenal.. ile try anything .

If i missed anyone out im really sorry , hope you are all taking care .

Ankia - so glad all is well with Anrika and well done on the weight!

Tanasha - your not big at all, you look gorgeous

Hapi - it does get scarier by the day hey! I'm getting so excited but reality is starting to set in and I'm realising as well how everything is going to change, but all for the better. Hapi doc said to me just because C's big doesn't mean he'll come early but I may not make it myself if he keeps growing like this lol! Will be bed ridden for the last few weeks But I just have a very strange feeling he might pitch a little earlier! Let's hope I'm wrong and paranoid

Skai I'm very glad you didn't hurt yourself when falling!

Naz - good to see you here again! I'm going on ML on 15th July basically but working half days now from the office and half day from home when I can (sometimes still have meetings etc I have to attend unfortunately then I don't get to leave as early)

If I missed anyone please excuse the porridge brain

AFM: Doing well! It's been much better with being able to be at home half day now since last Wed basically. I'm still struggling with pains and aches but hey, it comes with the territory! I at last went out and bought toiletries and pj's for my hospital bag! C's bag and my bag are all packed and good to go (well just need to pack in my going home clothes in my suitcase). It felt so strange packing those teenie tiny clothes in a bag and thinking a little person is coming home with me!

Since last week Sunday I've been getting BH's and I've also been experiencing a runny tummy in the evenings. I didn't think much of it to be honest but I realised yesterday that it's now been going on for a week and today it started in the morning as well! I read up on the net that sometimes a runny tummy could be an indication that labor is not far off and you can experience it a few weeks in advance....mmm, here's hoping I make it to 28th!!

quick update from me
just got back from midwife. All is well with A, growing nicely
I did not put up alot of weight, so she is very impressed with me. I feel much better about the weight thing

Skai, shoo what a scare, glad you confimed that all is well with baba, im also so petrified of falling - I always get these visions of me falling out of the bath or slipping on the shower tiles.

TaNasha, you look lovely- I almost want to play with your cheeks the pregnanacy is treating you so well. You are not that big...believe me !

AFM- nothing much. weekend was lovely.Saturday was DH's gran's 85th b-day, so we had a family get-together which was lovely. I must say she looks great for her age. and then yesterday was the Baba Indaba, what a let-down or maybe Im comparing it to the baby expo standards... I dont know. Any the who, we got the girls their car-seats, stocked up on nappies and got a few other things. I was rather shocked that the two car seats actually take the whole space at the back seat (well, not whole space but most) and DH drives a corsa bakkie so that is not even a consideration but we will have to make it work - there is no way we are buying another car. I have seen people driving even smaller cars with twins.

its amazing how our lives will change once the babies are born.

Skai Esme has a cleft lip and the palate they can only say for sure once she is born. I really hope the palate is not open aswell as this caused the most problems with feeding and speech. Nothing we can do but wait!
Glad everything is ok after your fall! Be carefull! I am so scared of falling down the stairs.

Sindarella I think the best time to do a maternity photoshoot is between 34 and 36 weeks. We did ours at 34 weeks as I am already huge and didnt want to be too unconfortable.

Hi Ankia, Candi and Laliek and anyone else I missed! How are you?

Nothing exciting happening on my side, I just feel extremely huge! Thought I would share a photo of my 35 week bump. every week I keep thinking my belly cant get any bigger, but then it does. I still have 5 weeks to go, so how much more can it grow?!

Sindarella, nice to "see" you here, It sounds like you had a hectic few weeks. Glad you enjoyed your visit to Mosselbay, we are also using the cot that we grew up in, the cot is nearly 50 years old, but it is still in great condition , I hope to pass it on to my children one day.

I am doing fine, W is better - like he is not following me around to much and can do some stuff for himself again. Will see how the weekend goes.

A is nice and busy again today, was getting worried that she is not busy, but W was the same.

I am so glad it is weekend, just have to do some grocery shopping tomorrow and then we have the weekend to ourselfs. My parents go on Holiday tomorrow for 2 weeks, so that is also kind of nice, we have the house to ourselfs, except next week when we are going to go visit MIL
