Elrike, baie geluk met nog n seuntjie dis great nuus. Jou skoonfamilie sou my mal maak, mens is mos nie so teenoor n ander een nie. My MIL maak my maar kwaad. Sy se mos sy sal nooit my kinders kan lief he soos my SIL sin nie, want hulle was eerste, en nou die dag vertel sy my weer hoe lief en spesiaal Zelri is en dat die nuwe baba nou weer niks is nie. Ai tog

Liz, bly alles lyk goed met baba. Ek gaan vandag weer vir scan maar hubby gaan in wagkamer sit met ons dogterjie want Desember toe ons by dr was en ek het gaan le toe skree madam mamma moet opstaan.

Mariet, daar is nie n manier wat ek kar was nie, my bakkie is hoopeloos te hoog vir my en as ek half was dan is my man op my en wys uit waar dit half gewas is.

Have you guys start thinking about names yet? Me and my hubby did the other day and let me tell you here we go again. It is going to be hard again

Hallo to all my dearest Moomie friends!!!

We are super duper excited! Just been to the docter this afternoon, and got good news....! First the LO was shy, and we could not see, but after a while we could see!!!!! It is a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just shows, a mothers instinc is most times right! Remember I said in the beginning, I'm sure it's a boy!!! My whole family is in the clouds, because boys is scarce! Only 3 and now nr 4 is on the way!!!

Everything is doing great! He weighs 143g and is 10cm long. Went for blood tests etc. Docter is a little concerned about my sugar levels - he said it is a little high, but I had some chocolate last night, which might be the cause.

I'm feeling today a little sad... I've got a headache, and my back is killing me. Yesterday my SIL & her hubby were not very friendly to us - we were sitting in a restaurant and they came in almost when we were finished, but I spotted them - anyway he saw us, and they left the restaurant... Think he is jealous of us having another boy. He wanted a boy, but they got a girl 8 weeks ago... I saw when they was leaving and was calling them, to tell te good news - and what did she say? Oh, I know, my mother told me..... (My MIL) he didn't even had the decency to greet us... I'm really discusted with them...

But luckily me friend is coming to visit me, so happy thoughts!!!!

Liz - so glad your scan went well. Pics? asb lol Shame pity you went without hubby. I am quite nervous about the 16 week scan yet so excited. Btw Liz, you said you were looking for a moses basket, go check on bidorbuy, junkmail and gumtree. On one of them I saw a moses basket. We bought one from bidorbuy 2yrs ago for 950. But its a really nice one with a stand. Bubs will sleep in that with us for the first 3 months. I found some nice bargains on all those sites. And I think that shop by you was selling a moses basket.

Well they say we better enjoy these scans where you can see the whole baby because soon they grow so quick and then you only get to see an arm or face.

Joey - how are you?

AFM - feeling very excited about tomorrows scan but also so nervous lol. And we picking up our cot and compactum tomorrow. We feel so blessed, we picked up great bargains on junkmail and gumtree. We found a cot and turns out, its an spca charity shop selling it so we feel good about supporting such a lovely cause. And yesterday my sister found a compactum on gumtree for us aswell. Finally things are coming together for the baby room. This nesting instinct can be frustrating sometimes lol. Strange in the begining we didn't mind spending 5k for a cot and compactum together but finding that in richards bay is hard, and after checking second hand stuff it just makes sense to buy second hand. babies don't know whats new or whats second hand.
I know some of you said you have flu, I would get it checked by your gp. Coz this week i also felt fluish but didnt have a sore throat. Went to dr yest and turns out I have a bacterial infection that ran from my kidneys to my sinuses. Strange how sensitive your body is when you are preg. And uti's are very common during pregnancies.

Mariet, As long as you over 16weeks my doctor said you can use Corenza Para - C (must be the Para - C one) and illadin for you nose. He also gave me Antibiotic.
Med-sip is also safe cos it has Paracetamol in it.

Mariet - Toemaar, ek eet ook als wat voorkom, ek bly van gister af juis konstant honger!!!!
O ja, die lapdoeke, ek het dit op 'n facebook page gekry, kyk onder Snugglybum, daar is regtic te cuteste goed. My doeke is oppad, kan nie wag om dit te kry nie. Ek weet daar is 'n lap liner in, maar ek dink mens kan seker maar 'n gewone nappy liner ook insit. Sal maar sien wat sê die instructions wat ingesluit is.

So I went for a scan yesterday......it wasn't very nice because I had to go alone. But it was so nice to see the little one. And sjoe, tantrum galore! Dr needed him to be in a certain position to measure the skin on his neck. So dr pushed on my tummy, but seems like he decided there is no way in hell his going to give the dr his way! Was so funny! The apple doens't fall far from the tree! Hehehehe! But I was so deurmekaar, thought my MIL is coming with me. I think there is a lot of things that dr told me that I didn't hear, I was so intrigued by the moving baby on the screen. But luckily baby seems normal and healthy, doubled his lenght in 3 weeks! But we don't know yet whether it is pink or blue....

@ Joey - Glad your feeling better and are back online. What did you take for the flu? I heard that you can drink Med- Lemon Medi-sip during pregnancy, but I'm not sure. Do you know anything about that?

@Lizel - Jy klink baie soos ek...hehe. Ek vra vir my man gaan haal gou vir my Erich se bottel en as hy langer as twee minute vat, dan doen ek dit liewer self. Hello Ladies!!

I am much better today thank you for all the well wishes but I also think I might have the ms for a while will see I hope not.

I unfortunately won't have time for personals I have the in laws coming over for dinner as it was my father in laws birthday yesterday. But I will do personals and get all the updates tomorrow night hubby is going away and will give me some time to catch up.
