AFM - I am feeling so exhaused, my body feels strange lol not used to a growing belly and I have this habit from my teen years to always keep my stomach pulled in. Now I cant seem to ditch the habit lol feels weird

hello all. I'm on the June 2010 and now I'll be joining this one. I have one son who turns 1 year on Saturday (cant believe it). I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd who is due on the 27th of Oct 2011. 17 month gap, crickey I must be mad!

Liz, I also look like a teenager, its so unfair. 19 weeks pregnant and still my hormones havent settled.

Lindy - Yes, will be doing all those tests, not looking forward to it. I'd rather not do it, because whatever happens, I'll have this baby anyway. Looking forward to see baby move though! And I hope your boss back off, she is really making life difficult for you!

Chanz, lol on mowing the lawn. I did it once my dauther was 5 months old I put her in the pram with toys everywhere to keep her busy. Hubby mound to much so I mowed it, now we have a garden service Dont know if you have a Errikson near you but they make cots and stuff, you must just paint it. I bought my LG for R1950.00.

Lindy, would love to post a scan pic but I dont know how I am so glad your blood test came back all clear that is great news. Dr said there is nothing to worry about cause everything looks normal with baby but still just wanted to make sure.

Liz, dankie ek en my man het maar nie om die selfde vuur gesit met name nie. Zelri was die enigeste een wat ons oor saam gestem het. Ek was 35 uur in kraam en toe draai sy het net 4cm ontsluit, wou baie graag normaal geboorte gee. My epiduraal het nie lekker gewerk nie my hele linkerkant het gevoel gehad so ek het geskree terwyl dr sny, nadat ek Zelri hoor huil het, het ek narkose gekry en eers n uur na die tyd kon ek haar vir die eerste keer vashou. Almal het my kind vasgehou omtrent voor ek kon.

Today I am sleep walking, my son is not sleeping at all. I think he is teething again.

My scan went very well, this is one BUSY baby. Unfortunately I didn't get a scan pic, have to pay up front for the scan pics and dvd's and I didn't have any cash on me.

I also want to try the BF this time as I reallly struggled with my son to latch. When we went to the Doctor for his six week appointment he informed us that his tongue was tied at the bottom and that's why he couldn't latch. Fortunately it "untied" by itself.

All of you must have a LOVELY day.

Thanks Liz - I did say to my boss as well that what they are doing is discrimination and then she said "this would have happened if I was pregnant or not" but that's not true because I have been in my currant position for 3 years now. So I really hope they back off now.

Good luck for the scan tomorrow! Yayness and post some pics too please. Will you be doing the down screening and blood tests too?

Shame Lindy, sorry to hear about the bad MS. I think it is normal, I know one of my friends had MS right through her pregnancy. NOT NICE. I hope it's over very soon. Maybe it's worse because you're stressed as well. So you have to wait till the 17th??? Goodness, these people aren't very nice to you! As far as I know, it is illegal to discriminate against a pregnant woman...... I hope you feel better soon!!!!!

Chanz - 4k for a cot is really expensive!! Wow. I keep on checking gumtree, I really want a moses basket on a stand for our room. They are so cute! There is a place in Cape Town (Kenilworth) called Baby Steps, want to go there sometime. Maybe buy a compactum there, they sell new and 2nd hand. for you wanting to mow the lawn!!!

Claire - thanks for the tips, really helpful. I'm also thinking of using cloth nappies, already bought 5 from Snugglybum. I've got a few of the good old terry cloth squares, they'll just have to do! And I really hope I can bf.....

Kiara - sorry about your boss from hell......why are people like that???
