Back after a long long time. the flu really hit me was off till yesterday and to day i have been so hectic with month end

I cant seem to get any work done today. I am just sitting here and daydreaming.

Liz, jip die keiser was maar nie lekker nie. Maar ek weet van baie vrouens wat se die 2de keer se keiser voel soos petrol ingooi, maar weet nie so mooi of ek saam kan stem nie

Claire, thanks the 12 weeks makes me feel a little bit more relaxed. I am not skinny anymore lol I swallowed a soccer ball. My love handles keep wainting to meet the cold. Zelri has never slept out before, I just cant do it

Skitter, I would wash your windows but darn you are far I think this is going to be a better experience but will see what dr says.

Liz, I would wash yours to where do you stay? It is the only excercise I will be getting in a long time. Hubby wont let me. Hope everything goes well with the scan

I look also like a teenager, with my LG I had great skin not one pimple or anything but now. I did bloodtest to make sure everything is ok if not then it gives me time to learn, or get everything in order before baby comes. If he/she has special needs at least I will have a clue what to do.

Hmmmm, Skitterling, so if the old wives tales are correct, then I'm having a girl.... hehehe. Can't wait to find out!

Seems I have missed a lot of things and I sure need to catch up! Sorry of me being away, but things was hectic on my side - the business was crazy - Luwan was extremely busy! If I want to sit at my computer he gets on my lab and also want to type!

Things are doing great on our side! I see the docter tomorrow afternoon! I'm very excited to see the LO. Hope to see if it's blue or pink!!! MS is sort of gone... not saying it to loud, because he might think of visiting me again! Still can't think of meat and chicken! I can eat fish... Strange but true!

This week or this past few days, is the first time I feel my c-sec. Think it is because of the cold... But it is not that bad.

Face breaking out, mine is looking great at the moment, but with my LG I was a pizza the whole pregnancy...so I do believe in the old wives tale about that

Mariet, glad to hear the baby is doing well.

Claire, for my LG we only had a campcot, she was happy with it (never slept through in it anyways) but she was comfortable sleeping anywhere actually. But I really do want a wooden cot for this LO

Liz, hope you did not have to work late tonight

Lindy, with my LG I had MS just about the whole pregnancy, even after I gave birth.....so wishing you luck, it really is not nice at all

Sal, welcome, is your first a LB or LG?

Lizel, will hold thumbs that you can get a vbac or at least a better experience this time around! Once you are done mowing the lawn, dont you want to come wash my windows??? lol

Breastfeeding, I BF for almost a year, the first few weeks was tough but thanks to nipple shields I made it I never did any prep work on my nipples what so ever.

Kiara, hope things at your work works out

Downs screening, I did not do it with either of the kids (abortion is anyway illegal here even if the baby is disabled) and I am just trusting and hoping this baby will also be perfect.

Ok Im sorry if I missed anyone now, feeling a bit tired after this long day But wanted to share, this morning my LG woke up (she still sleeps in our bed half of the night) and a second or two later the baby was also awake and kicking up a storm Im loving this feeling more and more.

Only get to post at night! Running after my son keeps me busy all day!

I wish my face was breaking out...I think it def means you're having a girl!

Mariet - we take our camera with to scans and film the whole thing. Can't believe you have to pay for a pic! Glad to hear all is well though and LO is so active!

Lindy - maybe mention it to your gynae. Have you tried switching vitamins? They might be making it worse. Sorry, hon! Unfortunately for some, it only goes away when baby is born. My cuz was like that, even during labour she was throwing up. Terrible. We're all much better, thanks! So glad it was just a cold!

Liz - there's some really nice patterns to make ur own shaped nappies out of terry cloth (if you can sew, which I can't) I saw the ones you bought...really cute! We prefer our cloth nappies to pampers. The pampers always leaked...then ur cleaning poo off baby up to their necks! Not fun!

Lizel - I only laughed thinking of you mowing the lawn! No wonder you so skinny! Congrats on 12 weeks by the way! Know it must mean a lot!

Chanz - I went to my broker for our medical aid and told him to organise a better deal. We are also on discovery but on keycare plus. My DH and I are on separately. I told him (my broker) that seeing as we are married ANC, we don't fall under the same income bracket, therefore I am on the lower paying option. We are very happy with Keycare. Last pregnancy, I paid in nothing. They paid everything. You have to know the system though and use it to the full.

re the cot: have you ladies thought of just using a campcot? They aren't that expensive and you're probably going to be buying one anyway. If baby gets used to the campcot being their bed, it's easy to go on holiday, leave them overnight with granny. Plus, when they outgrow it, it's easier to store away than a huge cot. I have a cot for Colby and he has only slept over without us once since birth! Using a campcot only for this one.

Hi Sal, welcome! Wow on the age gap, don't know how you do it! Hehehe, can you remember that ad on tv of the girl with the big lobster on her face? Well, I feel like that!!! LOL

Hmmm, yes, I'm with Chanz, I'd also like advise.....

Monthend is driving me crazy, don't feel like work, but I'll probably have to work late tonight...aaarrrrggggh!

Chanz, I'm with you on the stomach.....hehehe, I find myself constantly trying to pull in my tummy!
